What people don't realize is how much stainless moves, especially if your fitup isn't perfect and/or you don't have any slip joints (header fab). Having a fixture to mount the primary tubes to helps a bunch with the individual pipes moving though. I charge 25% more to do inline fours just due to how much work it is to merge all the pipes into one and snake it around the bike. Nice job!

Very impressive. Watching you build and weld that system was something I never thought I would find myself doing. I have been bending conduit from ½ inch diameter up to 4 inch, is normal, but have worked with 6 inch once. The bends I have to make are not as crazy as yours and I'm not welding my pieces together and isn't as hard as stainless, but conduit comes in zinc metal, aluminum, galvanized rigid, and other materials. We try not to use factory bends, if we can help it. I'd like to know how to weld as good as you. Very clean work. I thought you might polish them up before the final install.
@p.e.r.c.y

Looks awesome. Only thing I'd be concerned about is the merge point where the waste gates go back into the main exhaust might have cracking issues due to the fluctuating temperatures between the wastegates and dump pipes. Normally you'd see the same expanding joints as you used on the collectors between them.

something that may benefit you in the future if you have a 3d printer. there are a few files out there for snap together mandrel bends that you can scale to the size piping you are using and it has different degree increments and a straight. makes for easy mock up and to help get a game plan. the pieces also have hashes on them for matching your indexing of them to keep stuff symmetrical i commented this before seeing the ice engine works kit, so nevermind but for future reference if you need a different size

@@Highspeed2322 I thought the same and I was given a cheap Creality for free to try. I hated 3d printing and thought it was a hobby and not a tool that would help me. It was high maintenance, slow, and I couldn’t work while it just ran. I wanted one for quick prototype parts before spending the time fabricating them to make sure It worked and I was happy with it or the customer depending on what it was. Eventually I made the investment in a Bambu labs x1c with ams. Totally different world, and price tag. It’s very fast, simple, and I just click send and walk away. Found a lot more uses than I imagined from little plastic parts or clips I needed, to printing a few hundred little storage bins to help organize my Durham bolt rack far better. Overall, if you want to do it and have it be easy and hassle free and usable as a tool to help you rather than be a time consuming hobby I’d recommend spending it up front and get the x1c with ams. I had no previous experience and it was easy to learn. A lot of useful downloads on sites like thingiverse also
