Today's virtual field tour at Oregon State University's Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture features the OSU Garden Ecology Lab. Join Gail Langellotto, Department of Horticulture, and her students for a tour of their research projects on native plants & pollinators and economics of container grown tomatoes.
The Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture is a 6.5 acre outdoor learning laboratory on the southwest edge of the OSU campus. The site provides teaching opportunities as well as providing a wide array of hands-on experiences that fuel our student’s personal and professional growth. Researchers from the OSU Department of Horticulture and Department of Crop and Soil Science utilize the space for research, teaching, and community engagement.
