Today's virtual field tour at Oregon State University's Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture features the OSU Student Organic Growers Club. Join James Cassidy, OSU Crop and Soil Science, and students for a tour of their organic fields and behind the scenes peeks at harvesting and packing boxes for their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program.
The Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture is a 6.5 acre outdoor learning laboratory on the southwest edge of the OSU campus. The site provides teaching opportunities as well as providing a wide array of hands-on experiences that fuel our student’s personal and professional growth. Researchers from the OSU Department of Horticulture and Department of Crop and Soil Science utilize the space for research, teaching, and community engagement.
