@Nonaya Bidness Doesn't have to be epic - just has to make the person feel there's something special about them. These are KZitemrs, so they had plenty of access to learn what would give them the biggest ego boost. I mean, they told Trevi Moran, a musician, that they were a protégé to Beethoven. They told Joey Graceffa that he was royalty. You just have to look at your life, and your parents life, and your grandparents life, and on-and-on, to see how tiny the chances of being even a little bit extraordinary would be. But somehow, magically, every single one of their clients has something that really made them stand out. For me, it's not like a psychic to my future incarnated self would say "You were a powerful healer" or "You were a mystic" or "You were a scholar". A real one would say "You were so damn lucky to live in a time/place that had clean water, plenty of food, and pretty good medicine. But otherwise, there wasn't anything that made your life stand out amongst your peers." BTW, as far as Peter being a scholar in 11th century Ancient Greece? That was during their Iron Age, aka the Greek Dark Ages. 😂
@Enjemnsnens
2 жыл бұрын
I do believe in past lives and tbh most of our incarnations were childhood or infancy deaths. The ones where we did survive, we probably led insignificant lives in the grand scheme. Maybe you had one or two lives where you had some local importance and influence. The purpose of reincarnation isn’t to “achieve” its to experience and feel. There’s plenty to be learned and experienced in the life of a 1400s farmer, and that’s honestly how it mostly goes.

The first time I felt something was off with the twins was when they did a session with Shane Dawson's ex, Lisa. Years prior to the session, Lisa did a Draw my Life video where she spoke about a close friend she had when she was a child, named Abby who had died unexpectedly and it had a big impact on Lisa. During the session, the twins claim someone with a name that starts with an "A" is trying to speak to Lisa through them and it makes Lisa very emotional believing it's Abby. I think Lisa at the time was too caught up in the moment and forgot that information was already public and the twins took advantage of that. It's called hot reading, when a psychic researches their client prior to a session and uses what they learned in the session to make them believe their psychic powers are real.

I truly believe that all humans have some kind of psychic abilities. Like, I think we've all had a moment where we've randomly thought of somebody we know just out of the blue and then that exact person ends up calling you a few minutes later. Or the intuitive feeling that something bad is going to happen and then you get in a car accident or get fired or something like that. But I also believe that there are people who use people's fear of not knowing the future to get themselves money or fame.
@BOFAMET

None of that is anything that can't be attributed to coincidence though. You might want to look up the concept of Occam's razor.
@WoodlandT

@@BOFAMET Exactly, that’s called a coincidence. Think of all the times you’ve thought of someone and they didn’t call you. That’s literally thousands of times. It’s statistically inevitable that it will occasionally happen that a person we think about will reach out close to the time we think about them
@BOFAMET

@@WoodlandT Yup. The human brain is literally wired for confirmation bias and pattern recognition even when it comes to completely random events. I wish more people would keep this in mind instead of leaving themselves open to mental manipulation like this. People are literally priming themselves to be taken advantage of when they lend credence to these blatantly irrational concepts and put trust in random schmucks who could be *literally anyone*. You'd think if all these "good" psychics actually gave a shit about people being taken advantage of by the fakes then they'd rally against them more. It's almost like they're all just in it for the money or something!

We call that psychic and intuition but it’s really the brain telling you about something it noticed. If you ever take a drug that lowers the filters that your brain has on as to not overwhelm you see that you can hear and see a lot more that you consciously notice

My grandmother had "psychic" abilities her entire life and i've tried to rationalize them but can't come up with a solid theory. For example >She had a dream she had lung cancer, went to the doctor, demanded an x ray and did. Survived longer than she should have > I got stuck in a porta potty at a little league park when i was 10. My mom found me because my grandma had a dream i was stuck in a porta potty and called her. > she had a dream where my aunt died in a car crash, and she did This was her entire life. She'd dream something and it would happen Now i know she was skeptical about it. She kept a journal of any dream she remembered but most were accurate She just chalked it up to gut feelings because it always involved family or her own health but like.. how? I don't know anyone else who can do that.

the "psychic" twins and shane also tried to out dan and phil (before they came out) and like that is small in comparison to their scams, but it was so disrespectful. the twins had invited d&p to be on their show, d&p declined and the twins went all "what are you hiding huh?!", shane brought up phan shippers asking the twins to use their "psychic powers" to confirm or deny it and one twin says something along the lines of "yes they are (a couple)". and its such a disrespectful conversation that they (mostly shane, a member of the lgbtq+ community) decided was appropriate and okay content to put out for millions to see. to me that shows that they (both the twins and shane) dont care about other people if that means they themselves get a little bit more attention. ((drew (a now former friend if shanes) was also there but said "i cant comment in that" and he was a lot younger (b. 1995) than the twins (b. 1965) and also younger than shane (b. 1988) but in this situation clearly more mature.))

as someone who reads tarot including dream interpretations and past lives, i now understand the difference between a "real" or "fake" ~psychic~. i don't consider myself psychic and have opinions with that term but aside from that- when i read someone's cards i don't "read the future." and i tell people that straight up. i don't believe it's in human power to tell the future. instead i use the cards as a means of prayer, for lack of a better term. i ask the higher power(s) questions while channeling the energy of the person i'm reading and interpret the cards from there. it's more about divine advice and guidance. i do learn things about people that i didn't know, which is always exciting and affirming. that's my take. i find it immoral to channel the dead through the body and especially putting that on a platform. the jonbenet thing is SICKENING to me.

On multiple occasions they have done "hot readings" where they researched the person in the video beforehand or they just completely pulled nonsense from their asses. It's cruel and morally bankrupt. The amount of people that cannot fathom how easy it is to read energies and have accurate predictions are the reason these people get so rich and fool others so easily. They're not anything exotic but they market themselves as such because the regular person wants to live in a fairy tale land where it's a rare gift possessed by extraordinary people, when in reality, you can go to etsy and book a 5$ reading that will give you all the most important information you need about whatever you wanted to ask. People might hate me for saying this, but I do believe some people actually have the gift, but some fake it for power and money. I've had my palm read before once and it was a good experience. It was just a woman on the street, next to street vendors in a busy city that me and my mom visited, because she only comes home maybe once every 3 to 5 years, so we'd go to lots of places when she's here. And my mom also believes in psychics, so she said we should do it. All her prediction about my mom we're very very spot on. Which I won't disclose. And mine, well mine was just mind-blowing for me. I didn't know this woman, she didn't know me. But she first told me that I need to forgive my husband for cheating on me, because he loves me so much. I was shocked. Because my husband did cheat, but I still took him back because I was pregnant at that time and our 1st child was only 2 years old, and I just didn't want my kids to end up like me, who grew up without a dad and also without a mom, because my mom had to work, I was living in different relatives' households experiencing different types of traumas and abuse, so I just had to swallow my pride and hate and just let him work for my forgiveness. It was a very dark time for both of us, I was very hostile and I always had my guard up, but he still tried his best to understand me and take care of me. We both suffered and my daughter too, because her parents are always cold. So for that woman to instantly say that to me, I was amazed. And then she told me that my 1st child will be such a blessing in my life, she'll be successful, and that my 2nd child will be bringing me so much luck, and she's right again. Because my 1st child is such a delight for other people, she always ends up being the favorite of her teachers even though I'm not active in the school activities, they just love her, and she's been winning awards too. And my 2nd child is the reason why me and my mom reconciled and got close again. And when I had my 2nd child at the hospital, I called my grandma while she's in her bingo game, and she has been losing a lot, but when I called her, right then and there she won the jackpot. And my grandma told me that my child is a lucky charm. And she's very fond of him till this day. lol, I don't even know what I'm saying. But the woman told me and my mom a lot of things and gave us advise too, not just the typical scam psychic who asks you questions and feels like they're trying to guess what you're thinking but they get it wrong, the woman was very definite in what she was saying. So yeah, I get it there are people who still won't believe in it and it's ok to each their own, I just wanted to share my experience.

Some people are very good at picking up on hints and premonitions in the ether so to speak - police officers I have met seem to be good at this and I am pretty good at this. For me I just pay attention and I do not have a whole lot of emotions to distract me.

Watching their clips back is sooo embarrassing. Like how were they ever taken seriously.

"it was....a shock....I was so surprised" yk, the normal things a child says about her own murder. the absolute audacity to pretend the spirit of a dead child is talking through you, and that you have the right to forgive whoever did it on her behalf. how fucking dare you. let her rest for the love of god.

25:43 the twins’ surprised reaction alone after “predicting” the stalker’s name is William shows it was clearly a fluke lol

I do believe in psychics, I know one personally who doesn't promote her practice. She's a very elderly lady that I'm related too. Psychic practice doesn't work the way the twins make it out to be. That's "Hollywood ish". The Simpsons makes a lot of predictions tooo but that's because they make 17366463 predictions a minute and get 2 of them right BASED off information.

the 1 time i went to a psychic/tarot reader it was the most inaccurate shit of my life. i used to be open minded but that was the biggest waste of money ever. the lady was not even good at lying or trying to get me to believe what she was saying. every single thing she said was SO. OFF. BASE. and she would always ask me questions before making a "prediction." some of the cards she pulled resonated a lot with me. then she said the most inaccurate thing to my life which did not and would not ever apply. such a scammer. she also made me babysit her small infant baby... i went with my friend. bless her heart. and when my friend was getting her reading, this lady made me, a STRANGER, watch her INFANT. BABY. the house also smelled like cigarettes. i got the WORST vibes the second i realized this woman wanted me to watch her BABY because oh my GOD. she is so lucky my friend and i are safe people because the lack of common sense you have to have to let a stranger watch your small infant while you're in another room with the door closed is absolutely insane. i wish i could leave a review so i could warn people not to waste their money but i can't remember her name.
