I've been around the organization for about 4 years, and its changed a lot. They're a lot more up front about things than they used to be, especially incomes. If you're going to join, make sure you get in with the right people. If someone's being shady or weird or arrogant, even about this, drop them. There are plenty of people building it who have huge hearts and genuinely want to help. Those are the ones you want to join with. Its a difficult business to be in, and anyone making it sound easy or like its a free lunch you want to be cautious with. Its hard work.

So..........how much money are you making? because 4 years is a long time for a "business establishing" especially selling for company worth over 9 billion and debt free... or is it your fault that you are not doing enough, not putting enough time, not training enough etc...etc...oh my personal favorite when Amway people make fun of 9-5 people but can't even offer your employees/"business creators" a basic health insurance, or pay the taxes which you can be penalized for if not paid quarterly.... Amway is 9 billion dollars and debt free is because most of the debt is incurred by the distributors buying the products themselves on top of paying yearly membership.....

Great video! It really surprises me that some people want to still push these bogus pyramid schemes as an independent business. You are still working for Amway and putting money into their pockets, that is not your business. You are simply an independent contractor. Not a business owner. When you have your own business, you get all the profit, of course there are expenses to having your own business, but again, whatever profit you make comes back to you. You don't have to give a percentage of it to another company.

You said it yourself. Business owners have expenses. You're paying the manufacturer, staff, landlord et al. It's no different from giving someone else a cut of your profit. WWDB is just another Pyramid Scheme ploy and promise to have you retire within 5 years... my sister has been with them for I believe more than 5 years and still nothing... not to mention my own brother-in-law since I’m no longer in it decided to tell me, “she won’t get it, she will never be capable of owning her business or having one.” I do believe there are some nice people but they are so brainwashed that this will help them become rich.

He’s been directly involved with them since 2015 and still hasn’t made any type of money with them. I remember he would tell me and other close friends that we can’t be hanging out with him because out association would be the death of him and we’re basically responsible for his own shortcomings in life. I also hated the fact that you had to pay a ton of money to get the tapes, etc, etc. I went to a weekend meeting which I found ridiculous. You sat in a room for hours on end without a break. In fact, it was nothing more than an hours long pep rally. By time you got out, you were exhausted. I went home the next day. I quit AMWAY soon after that. After seeing this videos and others, I'm GLAD I quit. What a waste of TIME AND MONEY. Avoid this at ALL COSTS.

È finito in carcere! Come vedi Amway non transige che ci siano disonesti nell'attività.

Martha, I truly appreciate you making this video. People need to be aware and knowledgeable of what’s out there especially the people who get approached vaguely. However, I was and I think I’m still an IBO who was active on and off with WWDB. One thing that did bother me was the money that I was spending and yes it is expensive. But, it’s expensive period to start and own a business period (shocker). I currently stepped away from them and started a business myself outside of MLMs so a traditional business. You are all over the place and I didn’t really get your point with what you were saying, you said you were going to tell the truth about wwdb but all I really heard was speculation and criticism which anyone can be a critic, my 3 year old did it this morning when I asked him to eat his beans. You also touched on Amway not endorsing WWDB which they clearly state after each and every audio so that makes me question if you really were listening or reading the material and disclosures, which is designed that way to avoid any law suits. It is heavily regulated by the FTC which in the hood we would say, “you got to watch out for them alphabet boys” The FBI, LAPD, the DEA etc. Point is it’s nothing to mess around with. You also didn’t like the fact that up line makes a commission or money off the books you buy from the website. So who does the money go to when you buy your audible books? I know your speaking from experience and trying to “help” people but I can’t help but to feel like you don’t realize your being sort of a hypocrite. First off, your on KZitem, judging your thumbnails and taking a look at your new videos your trying to attract more people with cute thumbnails, good graphics and content, so your pretty much trying to make this a full time thing which will make you money in the long run. Do you know the statistics it is to make money off KZitem? It’s very slim, do you know the statistics it is for people with gym memberships to actually get fit, very slim, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop trying to eat a quesadilla loaded with beans and 2 sodas on the side every few hours or stop running because of those statistics and I’m pretty sure when you look up statistics for KZitem stars your not going to stop making videos. “Taking advantage and vulnerabilities” huh (with an open mouth going uhhhhhhhhhh) I think before you post you got to really think about what you say and why you say it. If I was a teacher or coach grading you for your work or performance I would give you a D-. My experience is this, WWDB was an amazing opportunity, the mentorship, the coaching, and overall the friendships you make in that business are incredible. Everything that they have taught me I still use today in my traditional business. Look up how much a life coach charges and you will be blown away vs the education that this business will give you. There’s a video where this guy on KZitem is asking rappers for advice and coaching and the fees they charge just for a little bit of advice is nuts. Just look up how much money a football coach in the NFL makes just for coaching. My advice is, if you are approached by someone from WWDB, take a chance and soak in the association. Learn and listen to what they listen to it’s amazing what it does to your brain. For example Extreme Ownership, Start With Why, The 5 Love Languages, those are some amazing books that aren’t directly affiliated with Amway or WWDB just the education they give you. I am very grateful that I was shown this business and although I probably am not going back because my business is doing good, I’ve seen people because I was in it for over 5 years start from the bottom and actually make a good living and 6 figures from. I’ve seen proof that this business works it’s just you have to make so much sacrifices and that’s something I had issues with. It’s definitely a lifestyle not a hobby just like Martha made it sound like. 6 months come on home girl get real. I hope you become a really good KZitem developer, and make it big I really do but dang I think you need to check yourself big time and give that biz a little credit, it got you making KZitem videos. That’s a start, I know after 6 months your not going to quit just because you aren’t making money yet. You know you will eventually you just have to put in the work which is the mindset you need starting and doing any business period. Form Amway to KZitem. Good luck and again thank you for sharing.

You make a lot of sense in your rebuttal...very fair and real in your comments. My wife and I built the business in early '80's, part of the Bill Britt Org which morphed into WWDB..we had a great upline and learned so much that changed our life and approach to life post-Amway. Life and circumstances got in the way and we allowed that to derail us...but we're forever grateful for the experience. We got involved when we were 26 and 24 and it was like a post-grad education about business, psychology, free enterprise, leadership and on an on. We met some of our best friends, to this day AND found a new life in our spiritual walk as a result.

I could see why she would be upset. You can go to the gym and do the work without the trainer and still see progress. Im not hating on WWG. WWDB/Amway changed mine and my wife's life literally, forever. We got out of $85k of debt in 3.5 years and just had our first baby. It replaced my wife's income, and it's on the way to replacing mine. I feel bad for people who find this video (that only has partial truths) and then they opt out because they think this is the "truth". I've been around the organization for 7 years, and the leaders of World Wide have hearts of gold. There's literally NO way you lost money. It's not lost if you apply the personal development to your life. Judging by the video, I assume that wasn't done. Learn to value personal growth and you won't have to post hater videos to try to earn your audience in life. Cheers,

Amway and WWG didn't do shit. You took what you learned from manipulating and lying to people and applied it to pay off the debt. Saving money isn't a new revolutionary idea amway/wwg came up with. You just finally did it. You literally lose money. You spend more on the products, going to the stupid major functions, 22 dollars for a board plan twice a month, driving around and spending money on gas "out in the flow", the regional bullshit and the amount of time you spent walking around stores hunting people to scam them. I know of all of them and they're all greedy scam artists. Bill Hawkins and the bakers...it doesn't matter who. You're drinking their tea and you're literally being scammed of your money. If you hit eagle and above, you are manipulating so many people and lying to their faces when you say you care about them. She literally states in the video and breaks down on how much money you are "making". Your cost to profit is negative. Leave before you waste any more money. I've built this business pretty solid and I'm telling you, leave and save your money. Stop drinking the Kool aid. Your upline does not give a fuck about you and this really isn't your business. Fuck WWG and Fuck Amway. A leech disguised as a blessing. Such a dishonest and disgusting way to try and make money and scam people. Fuck the functions and all the "this can change your life" bullshit. In order for you to even make money you have to have so many others not make any money. You are literally putting people in a worse spot. Ever since I left I have saved so much more money and my life has been so much more enjoyable and productive. And thank goodness it does not involve this scamway bullshit. Oh and fuck WWG again. Fake ass Puryears...if you are in it and reading this: Get out and run from these scum fucks. There is no miracle they are showing. I've been up there and built a solid business and everything your upline is telling you is bullshit and they just want your money...peace.

What a great overview of World wide ! I was in it for 3 years, i didnt make anything. However , I did acquire a great foundation of success principles and how to build good daily habits. If your hearts not in it 110% its not going to work for you. With my own experience , It was too much considering its not actually your own platform or brand and I didnt agree with the strict applications of the partnership. Over time I grew as an individual and I wanted to run my own business on my own terms, instead of asking permission or "seeking guidance ". I did find that this group has a sense of self entitlement, as if they re business model was better than others. And another issue i noticed is how they tell you that it doesn't matter what religion you come from , your welcome....but as time goes by they do ask you if you ve considering devoting your self to God as a Christian, I didnt like that. I could go on and on, but thats my two cents. And I agree with the Brainwashing comments as well!

It's not a selling business, it's a buyers business. It's NOT Amway the company that is the problem, it's usually the people you might involve yourself with. What this company offers has changed countless lives. Remember, Amway is NOT the people and the people are NOT Amway. There are building practices and principles to make a person a success using the Amway vehicle, a proven fact. Also a proven fact if you are not taught, do not follow or unwilling to learn the building practises and principles, you have no drive desire or want a change you will eventually quit. This business is so simple stupid, it's (pro)sumerism not (con)sumerism. The majority of society will barely be getting by when they reach their senior years because they did not realize or just did not have the resilience to create for themselves other streams of income, alternative passive income. Look at your bank account, savings, retirement plan. Wake up people, you're losing.

I figured that’s how it works when they started explaining it to me, it’s funny how there way of commission works, they tell you there not recruiting people but they are. They show you different status like you need 12legs to become platinum and what that actually means is each person needs to pay like $2k per year and you will be making $166 per month from one of them but that’s impossible. To at-least get 12people cause if you do you’ll make 2k per month but still the person might cancel and you’ll lose money, there are so many risks involved with it clicked so fast when they started explaining. And I told them let me first make money from selling on Amway and pay for the WWG at least so that I can actually make a profit and they very much focused on the WWG subscription and that did not make any sense for me to lose 2k per year with out a tested proof, all your doing is brining more people to subscribe to WWG and you get 30% cut from it that’s it nothing more nothing less.

Here's the deal... Do you wanna start a business? Ok... What do you wanna sell? You're own handmade products? Setup a shoe store? Setup a restaurant? Setup a coffee shop? Setup a phone repair shop? So how much inventory do you need to buy? What equipment do you need to buy for your business? How big of a loan do I need to get started? What types of products in your inventory do you think you can sell easily? How much money will I lose on a monthly basis if I don't move my inventory? Who will your competitors be? Online competitors? Local competitors? If you startup a retail store thus you are sourcing your products from manufacturers, or distributors, do you still consider yourself an entrepreneur? After paying for the lease of your office space, employees, inventory, utilities and other business expenses, what will your profit margins be after you have to lower your prices to match your competitors? How will you handle returns in your store? I could go on...I think it's a good idea for anyone to consider the risks of starting up any business including those related to MLM. There are many MLM companies that provide quality comprehensive products with extensive money back guarantee. And setting up your own business requires you to self study on many things including accounting, business strategy, leadership and business management or else you can just learn through trial and error. Some MLMs provide you with professional development training that you can apply to your careers and other future non MLM business. Food for thought... Have a nice day.

We were in WWDB from 1990-1997, until Jack Daughery created his own organization. We were so broke, and would skip car payments to attend functions. Of course our upline discouraged not paying bills, but what they discouraged even more was missing functions. To miss functions was to earn their scorn and to be less deserving of their time and attention. Leaving babies weekends for years and years. So much time and money wasted trying to find favor with people who care nothing for you, knowing you are also just a number. I never felt worse about myself than the years I spent in Amway. It took distance to realize and understand this.

He literally kept defending that company till the top leader of the company was arrested for 20 years and all the other ones got 5 to 15 years a piece for conspiracy and other huge fraud and tax fraud… and now that buddy is another company with the same tactics. All I noticed he loved was the energy he got from the conferences they had with thousands of people jumping up and down. I guess some people are addicted to being hyped up with false realities. Stop and think about this! How much was Amway, how much was WWDB? If you look at Amway and it's business/ IBO rules of conduct and policies you will see, no where did AMWAY ever require anyone to join WWDB, Yager Group, Network 21 and the list goes on! Those years you mentioned 1990-1997, not much was on the internet and thus you wouldn't have known this because you would have had to call AMWAY itself to ask if you needed to join these groups or if you could fly solo aside from them. It was never AMWAY fault! AMWAY/ALTICOR is the manufacturer of the products and the affiliate membership to sell those said products. WWDB and groups like it, Organizations that linked/networked together under AMWAY membership to form there own LLC and to grow as basically one huge marketing platform. I am telling you the truth! It’s definitely not a scam. It’s a training system to help those achieve financial independence. Which is not an easy thing regardless what you decide to do. What many people fail to realize is that the only way you become successful is by helping your down line become successful. Plus you become a business owner and shop to support yourself instead of from multi billionaire, multi national corporation like Amazon.

Sbagliato!

Pretty hypocritical that you are making money on youtube warning people about your failed attempt at business ownership through WWDB and Amway. I was an insurance agency owner for 12 years and my overhead was $2,000 per month and there was no mentorship. I'm an IBO for less than $100 overhead per month. Sorry, but it's not the get rich quick deal you had hoped for. It's great products that you will buy and use yourself and if you don't like them there is 180 day money back guarantee. I didn't hear you talk about that? In the end, whatever business you go into, it's rarely a get rich quick opportunity. Your lack of willingness to do the work and grow yourself into a successful MLM business owner reflects more on you than the 60 year old company AAA rated by the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, Apple, Microsoft, Office Depot, Home Depot, Macys, Bed Bath and Beyond, Best Buy, and many more great companies sell their goods and product through the Amway website. You must be smarter than the BBB and all the lawyers employed but those great companies since they are willing to stand behind Amway. You failed and are bitter so here you go robbing others of an opportunity they may be successful at. Good luck making money off them with your get rich quick scam on youtube.

My husband and I are traditional business owner for more then a decade. Before your video, you never shared who you are, your profession, your credibility, your credentials, your success in the business world whatsoever. Look into the facts from a credible sources like BBC, BBB, DSA, FTC, etc. Get with a true WWG business owner to get the information and get your question answered. The fact of this business is, it takes hard work to build the asset, it’s not a get rich quick scheme. All the people enjoying the result of the business, are all paid a great price and helped significant amount of people. It's sad that people falsed to see the price they paid before they put their opinions on people. God Bless.

I would please ask you to take down this comment. While you are right WWG is in good standing with the BBC,BBB, ect... a lot fo what she is saying is inherent with having another company help start your "business". She is mostly just talking about fees that are attached with resources that are offered. Nothing wrong with those fees if people are not willing to go out and learn how to find those resources themselves. Nothing wrong with her also not wanting to tell people what she does. I certainly don't go out telling people what I do unless they ask. Her video from a business owner's standpoint is super informative. It tells me a lot of what was not talked about in the webinar about the Amway aspect. I certainly have a lot of questions I will have to ask my point of contact for WWG but nothing she says here is wrong from the information that is available online and from WWG. Some of the wording may be misleading but I would put that more on WWG. Example: IBO - Idepented Business Owner. Technically your not one. To be a small business owner you need to be registered with your state as a small business. I could talk about that till your ears fell off but in short, you are hired on as a contractor (1099). I am happy to continue this conversation with you or anyone else that has small business questions.
@NavyPatriot
4 жыл бұрын
@@brianunger1 Independent contractors are small business owners all over America. If you receive 1099 income, you are essentially a sole proprietor. Every captive agent in insurance for Allstate or State Farm is being paid on a 1099 (I owned an agency). There is no reason you couldn't get licensed in any state if you feel like paying the government more money than you need to.
@brianunger1
4 жыл бұрын
@@NavyPatriot I think you are skipping over some very big things here. For most states, you need to get licensed for the contract work you do in that state. Then when you do get hired as a contractor under a 1099 most companies require you to have your own insurance. You could insure under your own name but then you link your liability with your assets. That's why the LLC road works so well to make sure it ends with your business and not your house. What multi-level marketing does is set you up as a 1099 salesman. This essentially removes the risk of your actions affecting the company legally. That doesn't really make you a business owner. There are a lot of things that could happen to you if you are not careful that could really hurt you and WWG would have no obligation to assist you. As a state farm agency, you were essentially a franchise. I am sure you still had to get licensed and have a registered place of business, insurance, separate banking accounts, and so on. Very different from what I was talking about with multi-level marketing.
@brianunger1

@@NavyPatriot Would love to hear more about your agency though and what that was like. Maybe I am way off on my first guess.
@NavyPatriot
3 жыл бұрын
@@brianunger1 Sorry Brian. Lost track of this conversation. Yes, being an insurance agency owner has state requirements for personal licensing and business licensing only because the product is financial and regulated. If I was a 1099 sales rep for a builder in Seattle, I would not have had those requirements. Much like WWG, the Parent insurance company provided my agency with all the back office, sales software and some training. i was on my own to pay for my office, overhead and any sales force I hired. In the end, the company owned the clients and I was left with all the expenses of closing a brick and mortar office with no residual income. At Amway and with WWG, you retain a down line relationship even if you stop actively seeking new business owners. Like any job, if you aren't willing to but in the effort and grow your own knowledge and abilities, you end up not being successful and of course you can get a you tube channel and blame the company for your lame attempt at success. The sad part is it discourages others who may end up doing great in the company, especially in the COVID environment.

At the “big” functions, tickets sales far exceed 1 million dollars. I takes no genius to know who gets that cash. The big pins know this becomes common knowledge as newbies become accustomed. Many would continue, knowing about all this “stuff”, if they could make it too. However, market saturation occurred decades ago, and you just can’t sponsor in any meaningful way, because nearly all have been “prospected” before (or collide with those in other MLMs, who want you in their’s). You’re just beating a dead horse.

@@ed7519 yokwe and good AM. Can't sleep at night knowing you are scamming your own people? I have an idea. What if all us family continue to buy our own needs at local stores for fractions of how much it would cost with Amway. Then with the money we save, we just hand them over to you so that way you get the whole cut and none for your uplines. I can buy a big bucket of powder laundry detergent for $13 at Costco instead of $40 with Amway. That's $27 in savings that would go to you. That's 67.5% in savings. Example: if i go spend ONLY $100 on what we need, then we get to save about $200. Then what we might do is split the $200 we saved, $100 for you guys, $100 for us. Win win right? Imagine if we all did this for you WITHOUT your uplines getting any of it? Then you wouldn't need to recruit. Let's talk about it next time we see you guys. Be transparent with us because you're 40 now. You've only been a caregiver but it's not too late to start a new career, don't let your uplines fool you. We are here if you need a way out

What about Pearl status? Lol. We were one of 3 couples that helped the upline reach Pearl status at their request to help us "go direct". It only cost each couple $10,300. The upline talked us into buying those door alarms back in the early 1980's in the amount of $10,300 to get to "direct status". We all ended up with cardboard statues all through our houses. Contrary to the belief of the upline, sales of these as a hot item in sales do not come through, Turned out nobody wanted to buy them and we couldn't even give them away. We were scammed by the upline and worse, deceived by the upline.

Yeah, I’ll vouch for you. I did Amway for 6 months and I got out. It felt like a cult. Members seemed to have a blind devotion to it as if this was the only way to be successful. I didn’t like having to in a sense sucker people into my down line. They would always tell me to invite someone to those weekly meetings but I couldn’t tell them what it was exactly. I was already working 2 jobs and going to school and they wanted more from me but it wasn’t realistic. I was initially told that I just had to put some initial work in but after that the products would sell themselves. Not true. To be successful in Amway requires a lot of your time. You won’t get far if it’s just a side gig. You’ll end up spending more than what you make(if anything really). You also have to have a salesman personality which I don’t to do this line of work. When I told my up line that I was out he didn’t take it well and said it was like “ending a relationship “ and told me “ you need to get your head out of your butt.” I was not compelled to continue after that.
