The Apostle Paul and Silas went to Thessalonica, “but other Jews were jealous; so they rounded up some bad characters from the marketplace, formed a mob and started a riot in the city.” (Acts 17:5) During the night, believers sent the Apostle Paul and Silas to Berea.
We stopped in Thessalonica and saw the White Tower that is rebuilt from a 12th century Byzantine fortification. It had been used as a fort, a garrison, and a prison. Now it is a museum. There is also a Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessalonica that we visited that will be in another video on our other KZitem Channel.
We did not see the location of structure at a spring that is dedicated to where the Apostle stopped to drink water and, above it, the Church of Aghios Pavlos (Church of St. Paul).
