Acai bowls are the perfect snack, breakfast, or dessert. I crave them so much during the summer, but after paying $15 for one bowl, I decided to learn how to make them myself. I had a hard time finding a recipe that didn’t require a food processor, and I didn’t want to spend extra money on a food processor. After some trial and error, I figured out how to get the perfect texture using a blender. These are so easy to make and fun to customize!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Acai packet
- Your favorite frozen fruit (I used half a banana, three strawberries, and about 5 mango chunks)
- ¼ cup of almond milk (add more as needed)
- Sweetener of choice (optional; I added honey)
- Your favorite toppings! I added sliced bananas and strawberries, granola, peanut butter, almonds, and honey
