Love your freeform locs! I'm really wanting to start mine, yours are beautiful.The only thing I have ever heard about the acv and or baking soda for use on hair is that it has to be diluted. I have use acv but with 3 parts filtered water and 1 part acv. Blessings to you on your journey :-)

I'm glad I found your channel! I want to start my locs from a twistout as well, but I was unsure of how they would look. I'll probably be a semi-freeformer. Do you have any tips for "professional" loc styles?
@neosouldancer89
10 жыл бұрын
I actually manipulated my locs before they formed to the desired thickness and direction. I separate the ones I don't want to combine bit combine those that I think are too thin. So I'm kind of a fake free former! In terms of professional styles I do rolling and twisting using bobby pins to keep it together. But usually it looks like this. :) will try to post anything I can!

I only have 42 locs 😝😝 ☺ ... Just started my thick loc journey today! Day 2!! I am starting them from a low Afro etc. ... I have curly Thick hair. So the locking and growing process is going to be interesting. I am semi freeforming them . Not twisting . So ... Yeah! I'm excited ! .... Good luck with yours as well... Beautiful video! 💯💯❤🙌 you're doing marvelous.

neosouldancer89 no* 😔 you cut them 😒😭. They Was damaged or something? What happened? If you don't mind sharing .... I cut mine years back . just wanted to start fresh with the size and everything . . I'm done cutting now . just want them to do its thing with free forming now . ❤

Not damaged or anything. I just got tired of them. I don't care for long hair and they we're getting annoying. Also I felt like I was entering a new phase of life and wanted a fresh start. But I am NOT about the loose natural life! Hahaha! I can't seem to get it together 😂

DeVaughn Eghomwanre Don't be switching up on me 😝😝😂! I understand. Do what is best and locks grow long. your hair was. Thick ... But just cut then lower. Don't cut them off if they grow long . maybe just being a NATURAL short style person is for you . I wore it like that ... it's cute too . But I am on day 2 of my Loc Journey so you need to catch up with me darling haha

@neosouldancer89

Well, I would just stop retwisting and separate as desired so they don't clump up too much. Unless you want chunkier Locs!!!

Hi, lovely hair! I was wondering how long it took for your hair to loc up. I'm a month a two weeks into my freeforming journey and although it's really, some of my hair has started to loc up. However, the front, sides, and back aren't really doing much.
@neosouldancer89
10 жыл бұрын
Umm... I think it took several months for mine to really loc up. Some loc'd within a few months but others (mostly the back) took at least 6-9 months. And as you can tell they are still pretty fuzzy. But I have learned to enjoy every stage and embrace the fuzz! It's a slow boogie.

pull them apart! Be careful, it can hurt and doing it too often probably isn't too good for your Locs or scalp.
