100 calories can look a multitude of ways. Which version do you want for a healthy body?
I love fruit, but there's lots of talk about overeating fruit - taking in too much sugar and racking up the calories as the sugar courses through our systems. Can you eat too much fruit? Enough to cause insulin spikes and liver problems? Is all sugar the same - whether we sprinkle it on our cereal, chow down on a chocolate bar, or eat a cup of strawberries? What do our bodies have to say about that?
This video looks at a wide variety of fruits, their sugar content, and the volumes you would have to eat to reach 100 calories. It's pretty easy to "pour some sugar on it" and see the sugar grams multiple FAST! Let's see if fruit works the same way.

FRUIT QUINOA BREAKFAST COOKIES (What the heck, you can eat them anytime!)
-1 cup cooked quinoa
-1/2 cup oat bran
-1 mashed banana
-1 1/4 cup mixed berries (chop strawberries) fresh or frozen
-1 whole egg + 1 egg white
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1/4 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients and bake @ 375 degrees for about 25 minutes. Let set and enjoy!
