Hi sweet friend! It's good to hear from you. I hope you enjoy your eclipse day today. Thank you for your kind words on my glasses. The Houston humidity always makes them foggy. When I go edit videos, I'm wondering how I can even see. When I picked them out, I had lost my other pair and when they put prescriptions in where I could see more clearly, I was like, "Dang. I didn't know I bought glasses with a leopard pattern." LOL I'm actually due for new glasses so I'm going to try something different. Blessings my friend.🙏

We spent yesterday outside putting a chicken coup together. Our neighbor gifted us two older store bought coups that needed some love and we made the run area bigger as we are getting 6 hens on May first and we want them to have some elbow room! I also got all the laudry washed and hung outside and made some bread! I love hanging clothes outside and find it very relaxing and I love the smell of fresh bread baking. I also use my crockpot a lot! I don't think there is a right or wrong way to cook the meat. Sometimes in a recipe the meat is on the bottom and others it is on the veggies! So you are both right!

We actually have a working telephone booth the next town over about 15 miles away in Wisconsin that has one. Those old telephone chairs are cute. I remember my grandmother had one lol

Good morning you two! Great video… Well you have influenced me to try my very first steak in the crockpot or slow cooker…im hoping it turns out for me lol, its already 2 1/2 hours in, set to have ready after the eclispe today. I think we will only recieve only 64% here totality but will be fun to witness for the second time as long as these clouds disappear. Your veggie garden is looking so fun, i would like to plant my favorite items to put into my salad. We wont be able to plant till June 7th, the frost should be done by then.Enjoy your day, Ill let you know how my stew turns out😅

Let me know how your steak turns out. It was definitely a different texture because I'm not used to steak that you can just slice with your fork. For that reason, I would go be in the mindset of it being more like a roast. Sometimes though we are just so busy on weekends. We don't have time to marinade, grill, bake etc. Weekends are usually for dumping whatever we can find in our slow cooker so we can spend as much time as possible outdoors. Hope your eclipse day is great. It's cloudy here with a chance of rain so even though we are at 94 percent in path of totality, I'm not holding my breath. Blessings my friend.🙏

My biggest conflict with some videos is the length. If I am working I don't have as much time to sit and watch when they are more than 10 minutes. I actually like to sit and watch rather than do housework while listening lol. My side hustle isn't a side hustle lol I hang my clothes on the line which saves us on the power bill. I have a nice pantry so I am able to buy replacements when it is on sale! I grow food and preserve it to save on the cost of food. We are debt free and mortgage free so we don't pay any interest. I work as a substitute so if we want something extra I just work a few more days a week. We also only go to the store once a week and I walk to work a lot because it is only 1/2 mile away and good for me lol! We drive about 50 miles a month during the winter months. That is some of the ways we save!

Good morning my beautiful friend ❤ Kelli I find it interesting when these things happen because if you actually read your bible and go to Matthew 24 you will know that no one is going to know. There were a lot of channels that were talking about some prophet and a prediction and then reading a bunch into it and scaring people. What I found most interesting is you shouldn't have to go to the store to get 2- weeks worth of food. You should already have it! You never know when something will come up. You get sick, lose a job, car breaks down etc. You should always have a buffer. The past years have shown us this to be true. Such as when covid hit and you couldn't find toilet paper! Then there were bare spots in the market. My cousin in Oregon was without power for 8 days and she doesn't drive and is limited to the stores closest to her. All the easy food was gone. As for the Cicadas that one is kind of funny. There are two different types. A 17- year one and a 13 year one. They live under the ground and feed off the sap of trees. They come out once every 13-17 years depending on which one. They have a 4 week life span to turn into an adult mate and then die. They cant bite because they don't have mouths. They aren't going to harm anything they aren't locusts! I think the reason they are in the news is this is a special year for them! Because this year the 13 year ones and the 17 year one will both be coming out at the same time! Kelli you are absolutely correct if you are saved you have no reason to fear!
