Thank you so much. Sounds like my ligaments are unhappy at the back of my knee as well as at the inner knee. Something is catching randomly and intermittently when I'm walking or on stairs. I clearly need to get help. And then to do your 28-day program. Thank you so much.
@epmanualphysicaltherapy

Hey Sara! We are glad to hear you are considering our program! We have 2 programs that may be useful for you. The 28-day program would definitely be beneficial for the health of your knee! We also have the knee meniscus recovery program available that is much more extensive. The "catching" in your knee sounds like it may be a meniscus issue which would mean that the meniscus program may be even better for your knee. Here are links to each of those programs in case you would like to learn more about each of them: Knee Meniscus Recovery Program The Knee Meniscus Recovery Program is designed to help people have the best chance of avoiding unnecessary surgery, injections, or having to rely on pain medications. This course guides people through exercises and stretches that target key body parts that have the greatest potential to prevent or help with meniscus tears or trouble after meniscus surgery. To learn more please click this link: www.epmanualphysicaltherapy.com/meniscus-recovery 28-Day Knee Health and Wellness Boost Program The 28-Day Knee Health & Wellness Boost Program is designed to help people have the best chance of avoiding unnecessary surgery, injections, or having to rely on pain medications. This course guides people through exercises and stretches that target key body parts that have the greatest potential to prevent or help with knee conditions like osteoarthritis, meniscus tears, ACL tears, ligament injuries, chondromalacia patella, cartilage problems and other knee conditions. How difficult is it to identify which you are experiencing. Mine does not really effect me walking. If I bend my knees (curl) up in bed, get into the car (right leg), kneel on stair (the pressure is terrible).

Good presentation Thank you I had TKR five months ago. Mow I am having pain at the back of my knee. Is it from overdoing exercises or from the operation?
@epmanualphysicaltherapy

Hi Pascasica, We are so sorry to hear that you've been experiencing in the back of your knee after your TKR. It's common for many people to still have pain after a TKR. There are various reasons why you might be having the pain but we wouldn't be able to say for certain without a proper evaluation. Too much intensity could cause it and we would recommend offloading the knee joint until the pain has subsided. We have a playlist for knee replacement help. You can access it here: “Failed Knee Replacement Help” kzitem.info/door/PLJVIPiFvv1maC3n6M0ksF5F17DPDcI98a This playlist isn't just for failed knee replacement. It can also help anyone who has had TKR and has experienced pain from time to time. We wish you all the best in your road to recovery. We'd love to hear how you are doing as you progress.🙌 Please take care!

Doctor, I’ve been strengthening my glutes since a month now, and my knee pain is gone( I’ve had it for20 years) but now my butt hurts all the time. What should I do?
@epmanualphysicaltherapy
Жыл бұрын
Hey @misbahhabib8866, that's great that you've got rid of your knee pain of 20 years!!! WOOHOOOO!!!! It may be that you're sore in your glute muscles since you may have had weakness there for so long. It could also be that you need to reduce the intensity that you're working at in your glute strengthening. In other words, back off a bit and see if your glutes feel better. You'll have to keep up your glute strength for the long term to make sure your knees stay healthy the rest of your life!
@misbahhabib8866

Ok thanks. Its just that I’m so relieved and happy with my knees, the last thing I want to do is stop the glutes exercise. I just do simple squeezes (10 for 10 seconds each) twice a day. Even my back has straightened… I had developed a stoop. I’m 64 btw.

What if I have mild meniscus injury with grade 1 acl sprain + grade 1 chondromalacia - and now developed swelling at back of the knee which hurts during bending or straightening, more than it hurts during standing/walking. Can a knee cap help this? Also, I dont have DVT but some varicosities like perforator incompetence. Is that the reason? I've seen both types of specialists and doctors arent telling me nothing! I have taken anti coagulant and anti platelets from November to March. I would say I noticed the back of the knee swelling only in April.
