Hey your name matches my pfp! Yes, I was definitely discouraged after being bullied and giving up as killer, only to have the survivors do no gens for quite a while and just try to harass me to get a reaction while afk. When I play, I try to keep in mind the experience of the other side, so no full face camping or bleeding out, and no excessive bullying. Never really been in a swf that was able to get away with bullying like that (and not high enough skill to pull it off), but if I see that the killer is getting discouraged and having a hard time, I'll go easier on them. Love the idea of helping the killer take out a cheating survivor. Ayrun did a video recently where he had a bully squad take on a poor bubba. After harassing him and goofing off for 45 min, bubba got at least a 3k and got to rancor mori a guy. If I was gonna do some stupid mechanics, I'd want to let the killer have me at the end of it as compensation for the silly antics.

Honestly, I think the thing is with t-bagging in Dead by Daylight and how killers can get really frustrated themselves isn't how rude t-bagging is. T-bagging in games is usually done during matches rather than the end of matches in which people have the possibility of getting back at t-baggers. Though, 9 times out of 10, all t-bagging done to piss people off is done when the exit gates are open and the survivors are at the gate. Even I get pissed off from time to time to this because it isn't the actions itself, it's that I know they're full of shit and stroking their ego when the match is essentially done. I feel like they don't get the right to t-bag after the SWF sends me to Ormond and all of them are running gen-rush perks. It ain't that the action itself is offensive, but just the surrounding factors of it.
@arkirron7172
5 ай бұрын
Exactly, the intention behind it is what makes it bad. Kind of what baffled me when they put hard tunnelling in “not nice” whilst putting tbagging in “fine”, when most players are just tbagging to try to rub it in and piss someone off, it doesn’t really serve any purpose outside of that, where as tunnelling is a legitimate strategy, otz even does it in some of his games like when he’s had a rough game or the survivors have brought strong stuff and he’s in a rough spot. So a bit weird tbagging got ranked as less toxic, when most people are doing it literally just to be toxic in this game, as opposed to a situational strategy.

bleeding out is rare imo. I've only experienced it a couple of times as a survivor and that was because the person was slugging. I'll also add onto the thing about configs: for myself, I have a terrible time seeing *anything* in dark games. DBD included. In maps like RPD where there are hallways that are pitch black, I'd be caught on numerous things that I literally can not see. This happens both as survivor and killer and it just gets frustrating, so when brightness settings are available in games, I tend to crank that to max. I already have poor enough vision as is, I don't really need the game making me completely blind, and it's always a relief when that option is added to a game.

It's not offensive at all Otz and Cope already went over how some are genuinely toxic but most of it is just 16 year olds getting flashlight saves and spins, who'll die anyway. There is no intended offence to the Killer, that's just how Killers end up perceiving it because they're very aggressive Survivors Killers aren't use to. Some insights on DCs. Often times, these types of people just don't want to deal with whatever crap is happening in game. Either yet another Spirit / Nurse / Blight is picked, a team mate goes down quickly to Lethal Pursuer and end themselves on hook, so other players disconnect, or people playing insanely sweaty vs a weak killer who was just looking to have fun, etc. Any number of things can happen in game that make the result of the match already decided within the first 30 seconds that's just not worth dealing with. That being said, you can go out of your way to try to get hooked and exit legit or afk, but you'll often get salty killers that just slug you knowing what you're trying to do, or survivors that just refuse end the game just to spite you. So, in this regard, dc'ing is basically a way to skip all of that mess in hopes that it was a once off. The dc timer is basically a measure of "should I play a different game" which kind of sucks if you literally just logged in and this is the trash you're met with. That being said, after all this cheater crap kicked off and a lot of unfun play styles / killers were being spammed with new updates, I already know I'm not going to have fun, so why bother. I've decided to play a different game for a very long time now, because my style of playing the game called, "just play the game normally" is VERY uncommon. Maybe DBD being a ghost town will be better for the game. Idk.

That aspect doesnt really matter in DBD, since survivors have so many aura reading perks and after awhile of playing gain a lot of map/killer knowledge so it really isnt hard for the average survivor to often know the killers location every few seconds and know where certain things may be placed. If you played trapper and survivors constantly avoided your traps because they know you'd place them at strong looping/pallet locations, you wouldnt call them a stream sniper. @@Toredos_4242 it's fair, someone makes the conscious choice to stream an online game knowing full well that stream sniping exists, and that anyone could possibly get in a game with them. It's not really cheating, its just a risk that streamers take. Any information gotten from stream sniping could easily be obtained from any aura reading perk (such as object of obsession) or just playing swf. But a fragile killer main like yourself would cry and say that SWF is cheating which it isnt. Like i said any information obtained from stream sniping could be gotten with SWF, Aura Perks, or just general map and killer knowledge. No, streamsniping isnt the same as using a third party tool, i dont think you're dumb self even knows what "third party tool" even means, its a downloaded program that allows the user to give themself an advantage such as god mode, super speed, etc... You dont have to download anything to stream snipe, let alone get any of the information that streamsniping provides. The only fragile one here is you, since you're clearly upset over the fact that someone disagrees with you and has called you out for your lack of knowledge at understanding what cheating/hacking is. Whether it is taunting/bullying behavior or other toxic interactions, not just in dbd or online games but in general. To disregard someone’s feelings on the matter is no better than doing it in person when someone antagonizes/bullies someone else. I jumped into the closest locker I could find, he hits the locker and goes into tantrum. I managed to time getting out of the locker perfectly and got him stunned since I was running head on as my exhaustion perk. He ended up giving me hatch at the end of the game because of that play, telling me in endgame chat that he was impressed and surprised as he was not expecting the head on at all. I really appreciated him not being salty about it. He just found it funny that he got "outplayed" by a non-meta perk. Would have happily given him the kill at the end as he was playing really good. It surprises me that a lot of killers get mad and makes it their mission to get you out the game asap when you pull off one nice play with non-meta perks. I just think it's nice when people use unexpected perks, playing what they find fun every once in a while instead of always following the meta.

On "bully squads" When I first started this game, I played killer as a friend of mine introduced me to that as a good start for the game. I found it really fun at first, good surprisingly balanced matches for the first couple of hours of playing, i was hooked in. I felt great about getting a couple or even just one kill, as I knew I was new, and it felt like i was doing good. Then came my first bully squad. I was playing huntress, they sent me to autohaven wreckers, I didnt know if that mattered or not. They flashlighted me 100 times, got themselves up off the floor and I just couldnt understand what was going on. If I stopped attacking they would just stand and flick the flashlights, not doing gens. The game took 40 mins, when I eventually managed to hook one of them 3 times, the rest of them decided it was time to end and instantly finished all the remaining gens (I later found out that this was just them 99ing all the gens, at the time it seemed unstoppable but of course i had been run around for ages). As a new player, if this had been one of my first games, I certainly would have left the game immediately. If I didn't play it with my friend I wouldnt have kept on. These squads make the game seem very toxic, and from a new player perspective you have no idea how many people are like that, if the game is just always like that. TL:DR, bully squds, have your fun, but really just dont overdo it. You're scaring off your own victims.

Man, the fact that I could get joy from this game is a miracle. A youtuber I used to watch, made dbd videos, so I learned about the game back in 2018. In 2021, I decided to get the game on my console. I had to pay for an xbox game pass subscription to play, because, along with dbd it also had multiple other games I wanted, so I hadn't bought the actual game. Due to my parents finacial situation (I was 14, now 16), I didn't want to force them to buy me a killer, so I mained Trapper mainly and played a bit of Doctor. I used to play on the living room, with that HUGE ASS TV. Due to the reflection of the sunlight or light from the lightbulbs blocking most of my screen, I had to play in complete darkness. I had my Xbox with 2 controllers since 2016. Due to Dead by Daylight, I broke both and suffered from INSANE controller drift in both. So I ahd to play in total darkness, with insane drift from the controllers I broke due to the same game and I would get bullied, teabagged, blinded and the rest constantly. The survivor often opt-ed their FOV and mouse settings so when they were about to be hit, they could just 360 their mouse and escape. I decided to try again in 2023 with the blight as a dlc killer. After multiple months and having bought multiple more killers, I have gotten a REALLY good killer and I am having lots of fun, but how I used to have fun back then and become a fan, is a miracle.

For example, full meta on a new/sort of new survivor/killer can allow them to learn and maybe stand a chance, and then eventually allow them to switch to something more fun. Meanwhile, full meta on a 10000 hour player is over the top as they have the skill to easily win without these perks, and still take advantage of them just to make them win even more.

And you can't just ignore them because then they'll just hold the game hostage and refuse to leave until you're forced to let them be a jerk to you. And there is no benefit to it other than purely being a spiteful jerk to someone. Right! Especially suicide on hook is so annoying for the rest of the team, especially if it happens right on the first hook. It's no better than disconnecting right at the start, because it just leaves the others in a 3v1 they didn't ask for and doesn't give them any chancee to actually do anything about it. It's even worse if they are already actively trying to save someone, risking hits and downs and wasting precious gen time only to then see them kill themselves on hook. I think afk killers are just dumb, but not toxic. It's just like... why? We just do our gens, run around the killer, find out they don't move and leave. Not sure why people afk in the game at all, it's so pointless. (Although I have to say, for survivors I'd rather they afk than disconnect. Because at least, the killer can get his hook points still and the other survivors gain a few seconds from them getting hooked and potentially unhooked and stuff. If you don't want to actually play, at least stay and be a distraction) I'm aware that nobody asked, but since those weren't in the video I felt like mentioning this.

I would swap tbagging and killer/swf DC. I think tbagging for communication between teammates or after a silly moment with the killer is fine, but a 5000 hour player tbagging the killer because they know there’s nothing they can do to catch them because they play perfectly, I would even put it in offensive because at that point it’s purely to cause offence to the killer, especially for those who wait at the exit gates to tbag. Killer/swf DC is fine in my opinion as it’s a sort of victory condition for both teams, a killer who DCs gets to escape whatever torment caused them to DC, and the survivors get the satisfaction of knowing that they played well, on the other side, a swf disconnecting means the killer knows they played well, and the swf gets to escape whatever nurse/blight/whatever caused them to nope out of the game.

Now, after a match where they were abusing exploits, or full meta, or intentionally harming the other side, I agree that the teabag is on par with something like slapping on the hook. Taunting when the other side has no response is ill-mannered, for sure. But in most of the cases I've seen, I feel it's more of a “friendly” communication.

The one reason I disagree with the ‘coming into someone’s Twitch stream chat’ thing is that 1. The streamer has posted their stream info specifically to draw people in, any reasonable person with something to say to you after the fact would probably come in there and 2. The streamer is in full control of the interaction when they come into the chat and can choose to end it at any moment in any number of ways from mutes to bans. While I don’t support harassing streamers, I do feel there needs to be a certain thick-skinnedness from anyone posting a link with a chat box to come talk to them as their display name.

Survivors stand around in the exits for 2 minutes every game in the hopes of tbagging the killer, so bleeding them out for 4 minutes when the opportunity comes up is cosmic balance.

I just got out of a game where I died super early because this Kate kept coming to my gen, blowing it up, hiding in a corner/locker while the killer found me. I spectated her the rest of the match and she would literally hide in a corner AS SOON as she heard killer music. She did fuck all for the last 25, TWENTY FIVE, minutes of the game while our Yui and Felix ran the killer for literal minutes at a time. Literally just stood behind a box. And the worst part is you can't even say "Oh she's a baby survivor, she just doesn't know the game yet" or "Oh she has Spine Chill so she's skiddish". No, she was P12. That type of behavior should 150% be bannable. I died 8 minutes into the game while cleansing totems, doing gens, unhooking people and 30 minutes later when she died, I still had more bloodpoints. I have never been so infuriated.

People who do nothing all game are worse than people that dc/suicide. I had a solo queue game where I died on second hook because the Meg just stood behind a wall the whole time while the killer was bothering the other two survivors on the other side of the map. No gen, no nothing, just standing there as I die. And I know she wasn't afk because she would move just a bit. Oh, and I had kindred, so she knew the killer wasn't near me.

Franklin's demise actually kind of a needed perk at this point. He counters med kits which basically every single survival on Earth brings I know it's annoying dropping your items but I can't just let you feel 10,000 times with that purple medkit with the gel dressing and gauze roll add-ons. And I know what about Boone circle of healing but I can count our Boone circle healing I can snuff it out and if I have the boon breaker perk I can completely remove it. But with items there's no way to remove them from play. Also I love making them drop items especially when they are bringing those stupid tool boxes they get gens done in like 20 seconds

Franklin's is annoying for the survivors but that's about it. Me personally, I generally will only bring in a brown medkit or maybe a yellow (but that's because I'm a hoarder and like to save rare stuff for some reason). So to me franklin's is just "sorry, you don't get a survivor power" which fair. It's just annoying. I think Franklin's is fine and I'd argue these "anti-fun" perks ARE good for the game, albeit annoying to deal with. Since the worst part is when a killer will slap you JUST to remove the medkit from your hand then leave you to go slap out another item, therefore making the rest of the medkit useless outside of altruistic heals. (I also think item rarities should be physically visible on the item but that's a different thing) I think to make it less annoying but still keeping it powerful it'd be nice to nerf it's charge loss factor but make it also work with special attacks. -After 20 seconds, the item will start to lose all its charges over the course of the rest of it's timer +Any attack on the survivor causes them to drop their items

I disagree with the spam crouching, or tea-bagging, being "fine". Not because it's a taunt, but because it's an explicit sexual suggestion. I equate it to a gesture of someone simulating masturbation. Actually it's worse, because it's an implied threat of oral sexual assault. Just because it's nonverbal doesn't make it ok (go ask your HR department if you think gestures don't count as sexual harassment). The developers could easily disable crouching being spammed if they cared. Same in all the other multiplayer games. Someday there will be a lawsuit over it and THEN they would take it seriously. Besides, many other games have actual taunts, victory dances and the like, that the game could add for those children who must add insult to injury. Just make them nonsexual. For those of you who think I'm too Puritan about this, "it's just a game" etc., I ask are you the kind of person who thinks sexual assault is a joke in the first place? Or put it this way: would you feel differently if some anonymous guy in the game was playing against your mother, sister, or daughter, and disrespected her like that?

Okay bro you're taking way too far. I don't think anyone teabags has the intention of striking the fear of sexual assault into someone and very HIGHLY doubt anyone has taken it that way. It's just more like "haha disrespecting ur grave" or whatever.

Not gonna lie if I stumble upon an accidental exploit, I don't have any shame in using especially if the killer wants to be a d-bag. For example going against a wesker who was tunneling with zero gens done, I get off hook comes after me again on haddonfield. I get downed in a doorway of one of the houses, he can't pick me up, basically trying to get me to move. I just sat there and recovered. He finally left me, had a teammate come and pick me up. He wasn't happy, still got two of us in the end.

My only issues with T-bagging is that it's typically a survivor who hasn't done anything the entire game that is t-bagging the killer. Or when I'm playing killer and go out of my way to not tunnel which sometimes loses me games, and then the survivor I had every chance in the world to tunnel, just sits at the exit gate T-bagging. But then again, I also play a lot of Wesker so I kinda want them to keep T-bagging me :).

Otz I kinda have to disagree on stream sniping, if stream sniping in this case also includes stream ghosting (the act of watching the stream whilst playing against said streamer to get an advantage mid game) which they usually are interchangeable in most situations, it definitely should be bannable as it literally is using a third party software i.e. twitch to gain advantages.

Yeah, their honestly some of the most fun matches if they have a good balance. Like if all 4 are on you it's kinda stupid, their just wasting your time, you'll eventually kill them all it'll just take forever and like 4 downs per successful pick up... But if 2 or 3 are on you at any given time so that gens are slowly going in the back ground then it's a challenge and pretty fun! You have to fight harder for each hook but to put up that fight gens are going much slower. Granted I don't want this every game but when it happens I get excited, NGL.

I think the killer/swf one should be split into 2 separate topics, simply because of circumstances. If a killer leaves, sure it kinda sucks for the survivors, but their queues are so quick that it does not matter, and many times it's just to avoid stress as a survivor (like a bully squad or a swf turbo fucking a gen before you can even find them on a huge map, or you just realise you're so outclassed that you can't learn anything from this game). Where as a killer has like a 5+ minute wait time frequently and the reason for a swf to leave after a game starts can be things like not liking the map, or you're not bullyable or they don't like your killer.

1:45 Why would you communicate to the killer with tbags? What message are you trying to send that way? The thing is, most people tbag with the sole purpose to annoy the other player. Spamming tbags after every single stun is not just 'communicating'. Ofcourse it's harmless and most people don't get bothered by it, but if the only reason is to annoy the other person then don't get surprised when thet get annoyed??????
