Traditional Strawberry Pie With Pastry Cream | Sandra Dias Recipe
This is the traditional strawberry pie, just like those sold at confectionery stores, made with the famous pastry cream, as well as many fresh strawberries!
The traditional strawberry pie crust is made with rich shortcrust pastry, known as “pâte sablée” in French. It can also be made with its sweeter version, which is the sweet shortcrust pastry, also known as “pâte sucrée”.
