“I forgot to go to church yesterday and I woke up trans again”, I’m gonna keep that phrase, I can tell that a lot happen on a church, I don’t know what but something that made you want to burn it to the ground, ignore those people ok, they don’t know what you are been throughout

Some people really need to get quiet when trans topics are brought up. Either get quiet or ask legitimate questions.

While I understand your issue, I think it doesn’t help to call each and every reaction “transphobe”. This person is just ignorant and I’m pretty sure there was no hate in their question. But I guess it’s easier to play the transphobia card than to actually talk to people. Or at least ignore them.

I did not post the entire thread, but this person made several "transphobic" comments prior to this comment. Saying how I'm going to hell and this is an unforgivable sin. Additionally, how I should be forced to use the bathroom of the sex I was assigned at birth. Which could get the cops called on me or put me in a dangerous situation. The comment of church was likely intended to be snarky, judging by the prior comments. Yes, I did try reasoning with him, simply trying to explain certain aspects of being trans without trying to shove it down his throat. Which he wasn't having any of. After all of that, the comment of going to church seemed entirely unnecessary and flat out ridiculous. I do see where you're coming from. I do actually have friends who are not transphobic per se, but they don't agree with it. Which is okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I treat them with the same respect they treat me. It's when they come at me hard and persistently with some BS that irritates me. Sorry, I can see how this comes off the wrong way because you didn't get the whole story.
