Good morning from Virginia Beach! 🌞🏖🌊 I really enjoy your work. My in-laws are in Savanah; and, they trap hogs. They use dogs sometimes and traps other times. They kill most; but they will keep a sow and piglets to fatten them up. 🍖🥓 Granny makes THE best BBQ in the world! Papa cooks them underground and stays up all night long with the fire. The destruction these creatures WILL do to a field cannot be understood by the city slickers who never leave their concrete jungles. I can't imagine how much devastation you prevented by removing 134 hogs from that one property alone! 😲 You are a real hero (& awesome family man)! 🦸♂️ Especially now, the 🌎 needs more men like you. I'm so glad you make videos; because, maybe some will rub off on your viewers! I know you inspire me to be a better Christian, parent, and neighbor. 🤭🤣😂

Enjoy your energy and enthusiasm thru each and every video. You are good at what you do and totally enjoy it, admire that a whole lot, yes sir. Pains me a little to see you moving the hogs along as you do, I ruined my back and pay the price today. As my back surgeon told 30 years ago, get you core strength strong and lift with your legs. He said that professional boxers had fewer back problems due to all that belly muscle work. 😊. End of my sermon 😊. Thank you for another interesting video. You take care, stay safe, knock them heads and God bless.

Bonus raccoon with the drop! There is one less nest robber in the area. You knocked the dust off that one with the Creedmoor...which is why he may not have left a blood trail. Trying to get low enough to follow a pig through the thick is very difficult. Trying for the head or high shoulder is the only way to go when it's thick on all sides. Glad you got confirmation. Even with a "magnum" those pigs can haul it if you don't shock their brain/spine. I shot one a bit low that left a blood trail like a river, but after about 50 yards the stuff was too thick to travel through (you begin leaving your own blood trail, if you get my drift) The 6.5 Creedmoor or 270 Win is plenty for a hog.
@Ray56z
9 ай бұрын
I do prefer the 6.5 Carcano over the Creedmoor and .270, slightly more powder for that speed, slightly more lead for that 'shock'. Hog is hard to knock down in it's tracks and that 50 yard run was short for that placement. You the William that's also on/was on the Fishman channel? Dawned on me during last nights live that I hadn't seen the name in chats for some time.

I saw a video of how bad the wild hogs are in Europe and that surprised me. They have overrun a bunch of cities in different countries. They attack people, cause a heck of a lot of damage and cause lots of traffic accidents. It showed a HUGE Hog standing up against a dumpster. The thing was Massive. Boy am I Glad you're on the Job cutting down on our Wild Hog problem in the states. Keep up the good work David.

A brilliant video and extra special for you being just you. I really enjoy these pure hunt films (the turkey one a while back was so special). Congratulations on getting your shot away- the time that you have between success and success is but a hair. Also really great editing. An amusing aside my late mother’s house has a gate across the driveway which I open to drive in. Too bad you weren't able to get him for a weigh-in, but like you said, buzzards gotta eat..and other animals will benefit from him too. You know your business and are great at it.
