W/all due respect 2 Rik Emmett (a "guitar god" & excellent singer/songwriter), Triumph's best songs r w/drummer Gil Moore on lead vocals (especially epitomized by this song ("Spellbound") along w/"Tears In The Rain" & "I Live For The Weekend". The manner in how Moore carries a tune reminds me of JLT (Joe Lynn Turner) from Rainbow. Don't get me wrong; Rik Emmett can sing but his ability 2 "carry a tune" is totally different than Gil Moore & JLT.
@gw2955

I like them both, but I think Rik is a bit better, with a higher range. They worked so well because they could cover different types of songs.
@williambandyk327

@@gw2955 I do c ur point. However, Gil carries a tune better. It's similar 2 RJD (Dio) & JLT (Turner) when they sung 4 Rainbow (albeit @ different junctures)

@@colinmurphy3478 Completely agreed. When I say "carry a tune", it actually has 2 do w/a certain technique. Rik Emmett can sing; no deb8 there. It's that Gil Moore's more fluid in how he carries a tune (very similar 2 how Rainbow's J.L Turner). Nvrthlss; gotta luv those good ol' Canadian boys.
