I recently discovered my positive ground 6 volt charging system on my 1963 Ford 2000 tractor wasn't working properly, so I filmed my troubleshooting steps. In this video I check to see whether my problem is my generator, voltage regulator, or a faulty connection. Also I show how to do a generator motoring test and personal protective equipment to use. These methods will also apply to other tractors' 6 volt positive ground systems. If you are having issues, I hope this video will help you. If you enjoy this video please give it a thumbs up and if you haven't already done so, please subscribe to my page.
