Looks great Chris. I do worry when I watch your videos because you always have so many fig varieties that I don’t have and then, I must search them out.lol ❤

Bill is a super nice guy. I hope it is midseason. MP has it 8/28-9/30 for him. I think it should start midseason and finish very late with those dates. Not quite as early as Calderona and not quite as late. Calderona 8/22-10/12.

Structure on your trees is amazing, can you upload a video describing your process of shaping and fertilizing?

I have about 40 strains in my largest greenhouse a little north of you, they're leafing out well now. That week of summer we got really got everything going, fortunately the forecast looks good, no cold snaps in sight.

Thanks good info on different varieties for the Willamette valley. I have a medium tunnel with King fig plants waking up very early from leaked heat from a citrus enclosure. They have put on about 10" of new growth, so I'll see what such a jump on the season causes.

The greenhouse will definitely get them going faster! I have a few in my portable greenhouse and they are already ahead of my outdoor trees. Outside most are only just starting to bud out, but in the greenhouse most already have a leaf or 2.

I can’t wait - I’m usually too lazy to put up the greenhouse - I need to invest in a better setup!

@@oregonfigs3314 I recently retired, and I don't want one, I live on 5 acres and really don't want or need another structure to maintain.. it's just too much for me.. I feel I can't enjoy retirement if I'm always fixing up stuff..

Geez buddy, totally impressed, just the varieties you have.. in Georgia ours woke up in Feb and they are wide awake... You've been such a help to us newbys, I have a question.. when I started I bought dormant trees and up potted them to 3 gallon grow pots.. then i went to a swap at the local farmers market.. i diligently did an aluminum tag for each one, when i started up potting those tags were EVERYWHERE but on the pots.. HOW DO YOU WRITE ON THE POTS?? I can't find anything that doesn't disappear on black pots?? What's gonna be cool is, now yours has that head start, and you have all of October.. when our season is done, I live vicariously through you😃🤣😂

I started using a white paint pen along with the aluminum tags on my in ground trees. Any high quality paint pen will work on the pots.

Love the pots Chris, where do you get them from. Nice job on the heads start, looking forward to the update, mine are still in the garage, Michigan 6a, too cold.

I got them from Amazon a few years ago. They are 15G that I purchased from a link that Anthony @TheMillenialGardener has on his KZitem channel - great channel if you are not subscribed yet!

@@oregonfigs3314agree, he's a wonderful channel to subscribe to. When he started he posted his figs on May 6.. mine are bigger than his, not bragging, it's because of him, and you, I didn't make the same mistakes you guys did.. I'm not bragging, more like extremely GRATEFUL ❤
