This twisted cinnamon and raisins bread is made with soft and fluffy dough, filled with fragrant cinnamon butter and raisins. This bread is great for breakfast, snacks and it's a perfect centerpiece at any festive table.
Ingredients
For the dough:
250g milk
500g bread flour
60g unsalted butter, cubed
1 pack active instant yeast, 6-7g
80g sugar
1tsp salt
1 whole egg
For the filling:
120g unsalted butter, soften
80g brown sugar
1tbsp cinnamon powder
1tsp salt
1cup of raisins, soak in warm water
*2Tbsp of milk or 1egg+1Tbsp milk for brushing
*Bake for 50-60min at 160°c fan on or 175°c without fan
Note* If the top is brown up too much, cover it with kitchen foil for the last 10-15min.
