He has a wife/kids/mortgage and always complains about being broke and that he feels like a workhorse, without any purpose. We are both 34 and I just broke 200k a year after taxes with multiple girlfriends, a highrise apartment in a major MSA, and travel often. At the height of the argument he yelled at me, "I AM MORE ACCOMPLISHED THAN YOU, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE KIDS OR A WIFE!" This reminded me of 2:23 "Having kids, marriage, mortgage, etc. doesn't mean you're accomplished". They really believe it

Now I’m working with the best of the best trainers and have a 10 year plan that I’m a year Into. Another 1.5 years roughly and I will regain full use of my right arm. Both of my feet were crushed and I can barely walk but I know at 40 I will be more fit than I was at 20 by far 🚀 The second my right arm is good enough I’m gonna go work online customer service I don’t even care. I used to mentally refuse to take the lowest job on the ladder because I couldn’t see the future and I can tell you I want to go do customer service so badly. I will be 29 when my arm is fully functional. I know where I’m gonna be at 35. And it is gonna be fuckkking awesome I am working so god damn hard I want it. I can see where I want to be at 40 and It makes me drool and have a constant semi. - A vision without work is just daydreaming. I have been thinking about that every day. Those words will always be in my home office. I know it’s an old video so you might not see this but have a great fucking day man 🤟🚀

I can almost do the front & side splits! And I can move my knees like a hockey goalie! My right arm still has a lot of problems but I’m in the home stretch now, 6 more months and it’ll be good as new and super jacked! No more bone density or circulation problems. Awhile back when I was having a good day arm wise & I applied for the financial advisor position at all my local banks, and 2-3 got back to me and wanted me to come in for 2 week training! I had to decline for now due to my arm not being better yet. But I told them the second my arm is 100% ill be there. And I have no college degree. And I haven’t worked in years. So that was really really heartwarming for me. Especially since I spent way too long dwelling on the negatives of getting hurt. Feelings of incompetence etc. Can’t help someone move a couch. Etc. But now I know I can go work at the bank and help other people day dream a future worth working hard for.

@1STMAN
4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, appreciate it. I would say number 1 kids come first, any decision you make has to be for them. Secondly I would weigh up if the marriage is toxic or just going through a difficult patch. If it's toxic then it's always better to be apart, the kids will adapt. Now in terms of success, the only difference is between me and you is time and spare money. When you're at a parents evening I'm working. When you're paying for date night and shoes for the kids I'm investing in 1stman. What this means is what I can do in 3 years might take you 10. There's no real option you just have to be patient and go slower. Success isn't impossible with kids, mortgage, marriage, car, etc, it just means slower progression due to less time and money it's that simple. Have a vision, get a plan together, start working "when you can" and reinvest "what you can". Your priorities should be kids, your life and then everything else last

Oh buddy! File for divorce. Hope thay it goes amicably. Downsize your home and minimize your expenses. You already have had the pleasure of having a lot of stuff, so now you will enjoy the lack of expense that comes with the increased lack of stuff that you get rid of. Create a schedule with you and the wife where you each can have the kids a couple days a week. During your free time, gain some hobbies. Travel! Develop a side hustle. Start or design a lifelong project. Also, don't feel guilty for breaking up the home. Chances are, the kids will still be raised right once they know that they have a loving father and mother that they can rely on, even if it is in separate houses. Or you can do the opposite where you go to couples therapy, still downsize your home and develop your passion project or side hustle whilst spending time with your wife and kids. Please note that expenses are not always forever, but family is. Don't let bills cloud your judgement.

I remember being in highschool and I was at the public leisure centre gym and there was a fat guy in the gym who was clearly new to the gym. I saw him again a year later and he was an absolute tank. He was straight up benching 500lbs for reps as a teenager I was in awe. He wasn’t shredded by any means he was probably 20% body fat. But that was clearly the ideal body fat for him he looked great 👌 everything was in ideal proportion. I went and said hi and told him he should get into worlds strongest man competition! Guys if you’re overweight I just want to say that if you go to the gym that no one’s gonna be judging you in a negative way. People are either too wrapped up in themselves or they’ll see you and mentally say “good on you buddy for getting in shape.” People respect effort.

So you know how those guys are. I take everyone’s advice with a grain of salt. I told him that I wanted a wife later when I’m like 35-40 and I’ll marry some chick half my age. Haha did not compute for him. He was saying 10+ year age gaps don’t often work etc etc. Freaking me out. lol. But seriously got me feelin once again like my life is over at 29 lol. Haha I’m getting pissed off like I ain’t no chick. But it was making me depressed so I needed some 1stman. That’s a not a good way for men to think. And I know it’s not true. I’m extremely handsome and this model turned me down when I was 20 and her reason was because I was too young. And we were the same age... I had that happen on many occasions. The women found out I was late teens early 20s and many say you’re too young. Way of the world.

To be honest. He does seem negative. Sometimes I watch this kind of content and think what's the point. But really he's right. He does look at everything with a glass half full mentality and preach the truth and positivity. It's just hard for us to accept that and digest it. This is because. We are lazy. And it's hard ! Discipline. Patience. Consistency and reailliance is needed to do it in this world. I think I'm subconsciously 1/3rd there (30 now started the hustle at around 24) at 35 I'll kill it with the money I've saved over five years which will only generate more income for more capital and more streams of income. The hardest part is to balance fitness with graft. But it's doable and the two only enhance each other. Getting started is the hardest part. Discipline tops everything for real. Thanks brother

You should make a website or forum or something that connects people together that want to start a business. Like for example I want to start a tech company because I have a phone application idea. I never did app development. I'm trying to learn it, but it's not very easy. Well if I had a place where I could team up with a person or 2 to work on this, even if they have little app development experience, learning to make an app together and starting that business together would be much easier than by myself. So If you had something where you connect people that want to improve. Make a hub of people improving themselves weather it's in health, or business, or with communication and body language, whatever it is. Just an idea. But your videos are definitely great. I love them.

Amazing video. I really relate to that "risk" feeling where you take a path that others aren't taking and its not till later that you see the rewards and then you realise you were right all along. Before thinking about starting my own business I was thinking of doing PhD 3-4 years ago. I decided instead to try and find a higher payig careers while I sorted my decisions out, which 1.5 years ago became to start my own business. It paid off as now I have a tangential career in a different field earning me more than if I would have gone the PhD research route and this will allow me to generate seed money while building a business on the side and without the 4-5 year PhD setback I would have incurred. Its best not to give into pressure if Intuition is telling you something is wrong.

@Satoshi Nakamoto not to discredit Kris’s advice. That’s why I figured it’s not that bad to have a cheaper not expensive home. Stay there while building. It has around 45k unique visitors per month across all platforms. I could shove brands in everyone's faces everyday and make a good amount, but I'd rather not. Therefore for that reason it's infant stages. Once the shirts are making money as of next month It'll grow enormously. Next stage will be the streaming platform which will likely be when I'd call it established as a business, it'll be making millions per year. Then I think I'll open 1stman gyms globally and tailor the equipment to male requirements, example; 1 or 2 treadmills, 30 bench press machines. At that stage I'd say it would be reaching top tier.
