Great that you will trailer and ride. Look forward to seeing you. Trees looking like spring is coming.

I started doing motovlogs last June. In the beginning I would just go out, ride and think of something to talk about. I didn't like the way it was working out. So I started getting "prepared". I decide what topic(s) I want to talk about, and I even keep notes! Especially for topics that are more "technical". Sometimes I would stop on the side of the road to grab my notes and refresh my memory. As for topics...I have a list. I write down topics anytime, anywhere. Sometimes I will go out to ride especially to make videos. In sight of the winter hibernation, I know that if I want to keep posting, I have to stock up videos. So There have been quite a few times I came back with 3-4 topics recorded. Someone could argue about "losing the magic of the ride"...Well, for me the ride is a lot more "magical" after I have 2-3 videos on those SD cards! Hahahahah!!! And I can edit them anytime in the future. I just LOVE doing this, and I do what I can to be better. Awesome video, brother! That color on your Street Glide...Rocks! Ride safe!

Topics - I like to note stuff down ... So I may be at work one day , and a topic may pop up . Ill just note it down. Actually I have a few now . Destination - I have now come to like choosing a destination for where I may want to film. I didn't really do this last year, so I am trying something new. Frequency - I think you can go whichever way makes you happy . You can upload 7 days , 5 days , 2 days ... lol .. Hey whatever makes "You" happy . Right now I like 1 day with a 2nd day as a possible video up day . so Tue and Thurs. For me I love the regulars that come and watch , we converse in the comments ... joke around ... everything . Really love that . Great video .. bike sounds awesome .

My problem is finding a pen that writes when I get a good idea. Then by time I'm ready to write I've forgotten the idea!

As a vlogger, I know it really is challenging to come up with things people will find interesting and want to listen to, all while riding.

I keep a list of topics as well. And if none of them tickle my fancy and I really need a topic, I'll go watch other people's videos. Sometimes, something to talk about will pop out. You know.. if motovlogging is just a conversation, then it's not copying them or hijacking a topic.. it's just chiming in. That's acceptable (and expected) in a face-to-face. Why not over video? But I generally have an opinion about enough things to keep going. Or questions about things. But.. yeah.. keeping a list... I've gotta do it. Probably all kinds of reasons people drop off. Sometimes real life gets in the way. Sometimes the amount of work involved catches up with people. It ain' all glory and cash, ya know ;-) I'm sure the reasons are as varied as the people who quit doing it.

Great vid, brother! Smart move for your summer plan to attend the Hoot. Very smart! As for motovloggers losing interest, I would agree: Some just are not fulfilled by it. It can be time-consuming and expensive also. Others find related interests like flying drones and that takes them away from making motorcycle videos. I have no idea why I am still doing this 11 years on! Say, maybe I should do a ride down your way during my spring break in two weeks?
