Wandlebury Country Park is a park in Stapleford, South Cambridgeshire District, England. The park features 110 acres of parkland including woods, meadows, an 18th century country estate, a walled garden, ponds and an orchard.
On the Gog Magog Hills this beautiful countryside estate offers miles of wonderful walks through woodland and wildflower meadows grazed by Highland Cattle. In October, the trees and the shrubs in the Park are a magical explosion of autumnal vibrant hues of yellows, reds, oranges and browns. Some of the magnificent beech trees are breathtaking at this time of year.
Wandlebury was once a famous stables, with the King's race horses. The most famous horse was the Godolphin Arabian. He never ran a race but he is one of the three horses from which all today's thoroughbreds descend from. He is buried at Wandlebury.
