An issue of a bimonthly video news program for Westrail staff, which contains five stories. Includes a look at the Cooljarloo mineral sands operation and shows some of the final load trials. With a 20 year contract, Westrail will move over 440,000 tonnes of sands per year from Muchea to Kwinana. Also shows the safety training on electrification being given to Westrail staff prior to the opening of the new electric rail system, includes a part of the video, ‘Working in Electrified Territory’, which was produced to assist in staff training. The new boiler with its solar upgrade at Forrestfield depot is shown and also Westrail's rail motor freight, by which, 77,000 cars a year are transported to W.A. from the eastern states. Finishes with a brief look at Westrail's Midland Salvage Depot.
