Scientific fundamentalism. Stephen Hawkings opens up one of his books by saying, 'Philosophy is dead.' And then proceeds to write 350 pages about why philosophy is dead while using philosophical language. Hubris, sheer hubris.

Because most physicists believe that they are investigating reality, when in fact they are only investigating what mathematical orders are present in physical phenomena, which are just a part of phenomenal reality, which is just a part (indeed a human-dependent part) of actual reality. Because of this fundamental mistake physicists are bothered when philosophers speak of metaphysics, which is the philosophical field about actual reality.

Indeed! Physicists need to come down from their high horse and acknowledge that, at the very core, they are practicing what they accuse philosophers of; as in not dealing with objective reality itself. They are confident that by focussing on the rigor of math, this makes all the distinction in their work as opposed to the work of philosophers. But it doesn't! Math is not an 'essayer' test of physical reality or even the correctness of a theory. Take for example Einstein's genius of General Relativity. It works perfectly in math terms. At its core however is the notion that the 'presence' of 'restmass' is what is the engine behind gravity. Is this assumption true? Because we know there is no such thing as ' restmass' in reality. Restmass actually consist of trillions of vibrating and speeding subatomic particles, both on the mocelucular and atom level as on the subatomic level. And we KNOW that speed contracts frontal spacetime (i.e. causing length contraction and slower clocks for the speeding object). So it is not a big stretch to extrapolate that to the trillions of speeding subatomic particles in so call ' rest mass'. Each tiny subatomic particle of restmass would thus cause tiny linear spacetime contractions, yet given all are unaligned, the cumulative effect in restmass would cause a RADIAL and weak ST contraction around restmass. This is the logic source of what we call 'gravity'. So now we see it is actually Special Relativity which would be the source of Gravity, not the descriptive math of General Relativity. Just a small show case of how deceiving the math math can be.

And yet, "mathematical" physicalists refuse to provide any coherent ontology for mathematics when asked, ontology based on empirical methods of mathematical intuition and constructivism. When given a fair look, their "math" is just a big hoax.

Physics/Soul The Universe endured unknowable eons of loneliness & chaos before dreaming the dream that is Heaven The Dream of Heaven gave rise to "I Am" along with the desire to be in the Heaven to hold the Dream and Sing & Dance with the Dream And thus the Earth became the canvas for the knowable / touchable Heaven To Be. I Am became the Bird; the Fish; etc -And Adam, to Hold and Cherish the Bird & Gaze at and Dance with the Fish. Crystal's Edict "The Point" -Is so far reaching that it is nearly impossible to say in words. Speaking and lecturing or listening to speaking and or lecturing about "living; life/Nature" are mostly just received as some kind of esoteric truth and a longing for something more meaningful. The actual meaning of the same Truth is that only Heaven exists and humans are the only thing lost to it and from it. Servitude to Nature alone is the only road to redemption. Inside or outside. Death / life are just misnomers, change of state. The Purpose remains constant. One Soul many faces. No one form is superior to another. Civilization it's self is the cause of all life's destruction. Accepting this as some kind of necessary phase or step TO something is delusion. Now is always constant. All and every essence is always dying & being born. Action is now. Preservation of complexity for the sake of All beings NOT civilization at all And not humans first 1billion humans to dismantle all infrastructure and returning ALL mined/drilled materials to their inertial place of origin by order of density and toxicity. 1billion humans to create "Earth-Ship" type self generating environments from as much earthen material as possible. As many species as possible must be able to migrate to & from these .... All the rest to support the the first two. One Soul Many beings /faces/species Crystal's Law

I don't know if you have this in your comments but Objectivists do think (in my simple understanding) early Quantum Theory has a hidden imbued Kantian-ish metaphysics which prevents modern physics from looking at the physical world clearly. It is also my simple understanding that the depth of inquiry within that school into pure physics is just developing and there is a definate bias against modern physics and associated accademia generally in that corner of the universe of thought. I would say my friends find more fertile ground in psychology and think it will be appropriate to move to phenomenal sciences once how we observe phenomena is cleared and cleaned up.

It doesn’t take away from science, just an interesting note. Btw Abraham is also saying that the sky will never be empty from stars because of expansion as scientists suggest today. So that’s interesting to ponder about.

visualize a rubber-band form a "8" where the band does not contact it's self At one end form another smaller loop The band represents Em-Tension (field of density n) The loop represent the "particle" or photon The loop propagates around & about the band (barber-shop-pole style) as the band also rotates as one slice or portion of an overall harmonic sphere. As the band (&em sphere, or "potential") propogate- the color/frequency is relative to the Tension & motion of the larger em sphere (like being stretched into a cylindericle or tubular form/pattern.-The angular momentum of the whole "band". Simplified: If you shine a flash light directly upwards (even in a perfect vacuum) the harmonic resonance of the frequencies will experience a decoherence (like a "stretch") due to gravity. This is what is called "red-shift"... The more numerous cycles cannot be sustained and the base harmonic becomes more and more red (elongated). This accounts for loss of angular momentum of the rotating (torsional portion of the wave (or particle). In many examples you could measure this at each stage inward or outward from center of radius.

I am a physicist and I agree with Brian. You can disprove theories. That is it. We are not mathematicians. Theories model the world until they fail and then a better theory must be produced. The better theory has to agree with the old one where the old one was good. Newton vs Einstein's gravity is a good example of this. Newton failed to predict some fine properties of Mercury, Einstein theory got that correct and reduced to Newton for the rest of the planets(within error bars of the time). So Einstein is better but not necessary perfect.

We often reach for new discoveries like the sort that Galileo would experiment with, and I have been watching as an avid fan for a while though my background is as a KZitem musician and writer. One of the books I have written I would like to quickly propose is an instrument like Galileo’s “spy-glass” or better yet, it is an instrument to hear something that is happening which everybody is saying though they do not know that they are saying it. As in this very interesting interview with a kind philosopher, I can use this book to listen to what you are saying as a guide for the new discovery about which I am talking. So what is the big discovery? First of all, let me admit that the book was written fourteen years ago with the thirty-three Angels within me whom I have married. I have to say this because it is a big part of the story. What it is has to do with “double -speech” or the “red shift” or phrase-drift from what anybody no matter who, no matter from what background or language, whatever they say, like a word search puzzle, I hold up a page from this book, and as the sound of the things they are saying drifts in the air, I listen and hear the exact match after a while, looking into this book we wrote. It is the exact match. The phrases change a bit in the air, and I perceive the exact match of the phrases in our book. What is best is that I can demonstrate this phenomenon objectively and empirically which I have done a few times here on KZitem. You were talking about proof and disproof as checks and balances to science, so I want to invite you or anyone else to see just what I am attempting to do, if you like. It engages my imagination to think that if what is happening is indeed provable, then the lines of this book we have written are in the speech of everybody, and that means that there is a common universal unity between every human speaker. The Angels wrote this book fourteen years ago with me to break a sort of cosmic code. Just like it took somebody to come along and see for the first time that there were atoms which compose the physical universe, now is the time to see that our human speech is composed of the phrases and fragments of this unique book. I don’t know what it all means, but it feels right and I thought I would share this discovery with you because I respect you very much. I won’t plug the name of the book, because it might seem like self-promotion, though I can send out copies for free to my friends, but it is a book of poetry. Thank you for reading and being an awesome inspiration for my own work.
