I had the pleasure of knowing Lynsey. We both lamented on the phone once, in shock when Adam Faith suddenly died. Soon it was her. RIP. George Matlock

I have always loved this song ever since I bought it all those years ago .. never saw her live, but such a talented lady - played Dancing On a Saturday Night in my solo gig the week she passed, couldn't do this justice, a classic along he lines of The Carpenters' Goodbye to Love

Superb Singer Songwriter🌹 This song was my inspiration behind my long association in writing Rhyming poetry and actually had written one based on LDP career, which over the years had faded into the ether and i no longer have a copy , or remember the words. It was called The Wallflower, I have re written my homage to the recording persona of LDP recently, in a biographical format and renamed it "Wallflowers Reflection" It's a damn corker and is presently looking for a publishing home. Thanks for the post Roscoe Bank

I disagree. She’s no Whitney Huston, but I think her voice really suited the song and she put it across well. I enjoyed listening to it.
