IMO Silva vs Rampage II ko was the nastiest ever. The way Rampage just bounced on the ropes with blood pouring out his face… damn. Not to mention the hype leading into the fight and the intense first fight and great second fight until the ko. Dang I miss Pride FC.

Steve Mazzagatti does have some really good stoppages. I suppose we only remember the bad ones. But even in this video at 8:24, Jason Herzog someone who people claim has never had a bad stoppage, was telling the fighter to "move" after already clearly being done after that huge knee. And he allowed him to take extra shots.

Man, those knees Franklin took from Silva were straight vicious. Annihilated his nose and body. He had a look of sheer terror on his face a few times while he was eating those. I’m still not sure why he did basically nothing to get outta that Muay Thai plum. That’s all he needed to do to escape and it’s not that hard to get out of, even w no Muay Thai training and just on plain instinct alone. But you know he was training some Muay Thai defense going up against Silva so idk why he was so helpless against that. Franklin was one of my favorite fighters back then but he was never really the same after their first fight and he was done after the second one. Silva basically kneed him right into retirement. Lol
