Beautiful build mate, I'm looking to build a new system in this case when the new Ryzen CPUs and 40 series GPUs drop in the winter. I'll be going for the black version though. Looks like a great case to build in, heard there's plenty of room for cable management etc. Those fans are so cool, the extra cable mess is always a pain with RGB but those fans completely eliminate the problem. Have fun with the PC mate, and you've got yourself a new subscriber lol, looking forward to future updates 👍

This is almost the exact specs of what i'm currently ordering, went w a cheaper motherboard, Asus z690 Prime-A, and waiting to install with the new Rtx 4080/4090 Gpu, also went with a 12600kf since I don't need much processing power for the games i'm running, and Ddr5 5600. Thanks alot!!

Very nice build. Just a couple of pointers: the CPU mounting kit can be installed by pulling out the hard drive cage which then gives access to the rear of the MB, and the RAM is DDR - stands for double data rate - some apps report the the memory controller frequency (2933 MHz) whereas you're thinking of Mega Tranfers per second (5866 MT/s). The memory transfers data on the rise and fall of each clock cycle. Regardless of this it was a fun video to watch.

How does that work? When you set the fans for the radiator as in take how is it cooling down the cpu? Aren’t they supposed to be blowing air to the radiator directly?

Looks amazing and I’ve been back and forth on all white build. I’m leaning to the Maximus hero board but that can add some contrast to the case I have which is the same as yours and Corsair fans and cooler in white as well

Your RAM speed is displayed per stick. so each stick will need to be x2 to get your total. Lovely build.

You had an access to the back of the mobo behind the case.. Just take the hdd slots out

Adjust VDD and VDDQ on the Ram to allow it to boot to 6400MHz x 4 that's what I had to do

I have almost the exact same build as you, except for using EVGA GPU and mobo. I've had 6x brain surgeries since the last time I built a pc, and for the life of me couldn't get my stupid brain to remember what it was doing, even though I've built probably 5 dozen pcs in the past. I'm now almost done, because I followed your video exactly lol. So thanks for the help, haha!

@@GeekyStuff Cool! Can I ask are you using the Strimer V2 cables or the V1? I tried mounting my AOI on the back like you did, but it seems like I have way less room than you do when it comes to accessing the ... whatever they're called... that let you hide your cables back into the case. I made sure that I had the bracket facing correctly, where the AOI sits inside it rather than on top of it. Maybe it just looks like you've got more room on camera? Either way, I settled for putting it on the top of the case as exhaust for now. It's looking real good!

How did you manage to get the Lian li gpu anti sag unit to fit with this mobo? I find the white bar touches the heat sink. Do you use anything other than those long bits they tell you to screw into the standoffs?

I suggest that you put the aio radiator on the top of the case or if you want it on the side as it is just to flip it upside down to prevent air bubbles making noise and possibly damaging the pumps Remember that air bubbles always tend to go up

It'll look better as exhaust but intake on aio is superior. He needs to add a exhaust on the back side though. I'll be running exhaust in the side aio but cause I'll never have to worry about temps running WoW lol

Yes,, it is now resolved! I have just installed the latest BIOS on my motherboard and I am now running on the max 6400mhz for 64GB RAM DDR5

Hi, I dont know if you'll notice this or not, but im curious as to how the temps are on the cpu using the lian li AIO? The price point is really good, but im concerned that it can't keep up under loads, since i know the 12900k is EXTREMELY power hungry and gives off a lot of heat

@@JD-hf3wf mate.. the airflow on any case is oriented by the builder preference … ps. Fans normally pull air in from front and out from the rear ( grill side ) … check your fans that your getting prior to installing for your airflow …

Did you get the LGA 1700 bracket with the cooler or did you order it somewhere? Because I don't know if it comes with the cooler I want and I can't find a website that sells a 1700 bracket for my Corsair H115i..

Streamer cables on the GPU is triggering my OCD. They are at an angle, I would go under the GPU to keep them straight.

I just did the same build only used the 3080 and a 1000w asus rog power supply. also used the AIO asus rog instead of the lian li. Does the 850w holds it? what about the ram? the 6400 works well with the mobo ?

I'm about to build a computer With four DDR4 3600 and a 3080 ti on a 12900k. Is it better to buy the 12900k without the integrated graphics? And what programs do you install to monitor and control the asus card and board? I'm also going with the new Infinity fans from lian li and the strimers with their new connectors and L connect but I'll be running a Z73 kraken aio so what Program do i need to Control the aio and display since all my fans will be on L connect...

Hi Cameron - I did not do anything special, it just worked. I suggest just installing two sticks for now and update the BIOS, then put the rest of the RAM in. The new BIOS update has improved stability at higher clock rates with my RAM now.

Nice video. I noticed that you didn't connect the extra power supply (6 pin) near the motherboard connector, which is used to give more power to the PCI-E. 60 W instead of 27 W as reported in the manual.

Yea I was debating on connecting it up or not. I don't think I have a spare connector available for it, I will have a look actually and connect it up. Not really sure of the main benefit, doesn't say much in the manual.

Well I'm mainly editing 4k video and rendering. Max CPU temp around 70celcius. Got it all the way to 90 after a stress test.

Yea there's a 24pin strimer cable for motherboard. For the 3090 you need the 8pin triple strimer cable.

Giod video and build. It's definitely personal preference. Am using also a 3090 and 12900k with ryujin II Aio on the top in my evo as exhaust but bottom and side intake as per the video you linked. I prefer the GPU cooler than the CPU and also don't like the idea of hot air from the rad blowing in. In that video I think he's kept it without the AIO as side intake as he seems to have an air cooled cpu?

It's only a storage drive. I had used all my M.2 slots up in the motherboard. I added a 3rd M.2 too.

I am building pretty much this exact rig except with a 12900kS. Have you noticed any thermal issues with the mobo? Edit: I'm using al uni fans, 2x 2tb 980pro nvme drives, only 2 sticks of ram (more later, once bios updated) and the older o11 case

why buy a o11 evo when you run a regular configuration lol... use any of the upright GPU kits or reverse mode to differentiate it from the rest. or you coulda just bought a o11 mini. nothing special here

I bought the O11 Evo because it's all white and BIG! I love huge cases and they also fit all my 360 fans in them, unlike the O11 mini which only has suppport for 2 sets of 360. I would not be able to put my AIO on the side in the O11 Mini. Also with riser cards you would be losing performance compared to being connected directly to the PCI-E slot! I know it's only minimal, but to me I like full power in anyway I can get it.
