Ingredients
1. Bangude(Mackerel) Fish - 4
2. Onion - 1 big size (roughly chopped)
3. Byadagi chillies - 6-7
4. Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp
5. Methi seeds - 1/4 tsp
6. Ajwain seeds - 1/2 tsp
7. Jeera - 1/2 tsp
8. Pepper corn - 1 tbsp
9. Green chillies - 3 (cut)
10. Grated coconut - 1 cup
11. Crystal salt - 2 tsp
12. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
13. Ginger - 1 inch (chopped)
14. Tamarind - 1 lemon sized
15. Garlic - 6-7 cloves
Method:
1. Heat a pan.
2. Add coriander seeds, roast for 30 seconds.
3. Add methi seeds.
4. Add Jeera.
5. Add ajwain seeds.
6. Add pepper corn and dry roast all of them for 1 minute. Keep aside.
7. Dry roast byadagi chillies for 2 minutes.
8. Add grated coconut, byadagi chillies, turmeric powder, garlic, all the roasted seeds, 1/2 portion of onion, and tamarind into a mixer jar.
9. Add water and grind into a fine paste.
10. Heat a pan and add the masala, add little water to adjust the consistency.
11. Add salt, ginger, green chillies & remaining portion of onion.
12. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
13. Now add the fish.
14. Close the lid and cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame.
Fish curry ready to serve!!!
