I used to be a heavy stutter. Now I'm not. Keep remain calm and don't try to speak too fast. The reason people stutter is because they are trying to speak fast but their mouth can't keep up.

Stuttering or not, you're in any case a beautiful young woman, that was the first thing I noticed (and continue to be aware of) 😉 Then about stuttering... That some people stutter just tells something about how complex speech in fact is... Most of us can speak fluently, but if only a few biological mechanisms do not always align - one learns that it is not so self-evident... Many parts of our functioning happens on a subconscious level, all kinds of complex biological systems working harmoniously together to create fluent speech... So I have full comprehension and understanding for those that stutter, and I just wait patiently until they have said what they wanted to say....

Wow, you are such a brave and awesome person, Paige. I am a stutterer too, but I would be too chicken to have my stutter recorded. I had adopted numerous avoidance strategies to hide it wherever I could. You are so great! 🥰

Yes, you feel this strain in your energy body in throat and belly, it is the energy structure (hucha) which is the manifestation of the mechanism of the trauma which is the root of the stutter. From my experience, it seems like stuttering is a form of PTSD in which the suppressed emotions/feelings from the trauma, when triggered , are literally blocked by a speech block. So, the blocking sensation in stuttering is just the mechanism for suppression of the traumatic feelings/emotions. Speech block is literally dissociation which disconects you from yourself and your feelings/emotions. After the traumatic feeling/emotion subsides, the speech block is lifted. Unfortunately, all this happens in deep subconscious, so the stutterer only feels the blocking sensation as the mysterious force or a brick wall which cannot be overcomed by any conscious effort. Any speech techniques may work at the beginning, but later, the stutter will always appear, because you cannot outsmart your subconscious mind.

I give you all the credit in the world , for doing what you're doing . You are very brave and courageous. Keep on trying and never give up. I'm 60 years old and I'm a severe stutterer. I still haven't mastered to control it , but I'm still trying. The word I would describe for a person who stutters is frustration. When you know what to say and have good thoughts and ideas to express and you can't communicate those thoughts. I know I'm old , but I'm still trying to master that control of speaking fluently .

I feel your pain the entire time. People don’t understand we are fast in our minds but our stupid mouth and vocals hold us back. My stutter has turned me into a very jaded person tbh. So I totally feel you on a deeper scale then most do.

I am completely unaware to the science behind stuttering, but to me it seems like there's some very easy moments for you to speak depending on your thought process, also when you're much more casual or relaxed. Like at 4:47... it's almost like any time you take a step back and say like "wow that one was tough to get out" or "my goodness". Those quick statements that you don't really have to process to express seems so easy. I wonder if there's any sort of meditative therapy that can help in any way. Like I said I know nothing about any of this... just an observation.

@@TheOfficialChannelOfChannels I find it really hard to believe that you had this problem because then you wouldn't say this is "cute". You have no idea how painful it is to go through life with this debilitating problem. And it doesn't matter how much you want to care for her at the end of the day it's she who has to deal with life, your compassion won't help.

I’m 33 and lightly stutter since I can remember. My wife tells me as long as you’re speaking positive, good things and treat people with kindness that’s all that matters. I teach the Bible so I’m always meeting new people, on my bad days 😖 sometimes I have to let them know that I’m sorry if you couldn’t understand but I Stutter. No one has ever been mean about it. I loved this video. 🙏🏼

I really feel for you hunni, because I stammer myself; and learned to control mine by singing opera and musical theatre. And as a singer we are taught to breathe from the diaphragm (in for a count of four, hold for four, and out for eight) hope this helps you as it helps me
