Hello, I'm Dr. Maha a DBA graduate, from Egypt the land of civilization. I was a cabin crew & flew all over the 🌎 I tasted & learned from many cuisines. So I decided to make a channel that covers the Egyptian & International cuisines. The cuisine of ancient Egypt covers a span of over 3000 years so, I made this channel for Egyptian food recipes for all people of the world who are interested in Egyptian & other international cuisines. Some recipes include information about the history, story or legend of the dish that might sound interesting.I chose the name "Kemet" for the channel as it is an ancient Egyptian name for Egypt which meant back then "the dark land". It derives from the Egyptian word "km.t" or "Khemet," which means "black land" or "the land of the black soil." The ancient Egyptians used this term to refer to the fertile black soil that was left behind after the annual flooding of the Nile River, which was crucial for agriculture & sustaining their civilization.
