Sheldon, thank you. I am a Cape Bretoner living in exile in a small village called Bognor, in Ontario. I have often wanted to write a book about growing up in my area of Cape Breton. Large family, far from Sydney, the usual for rural CB. For some reason, you have inspired me. I loved Margaret's Museum. I sure do miss home. I am old now but still have ALL the memories. Thank you again.

Really Great to see this. My Grandfather was a friend of George Rockabye Ross. I remember when I was in my teens my Grandfather told me stories about him. He took me with him one time to visit George's Grave in West Bay. My Grandfather did a little boxing in the army during WWII. I also have a family connection to the Late Rocky MacDougall . Again thanks for posting this video.

This is fascinating! I had no idea. Makes sense tho. Those miners were some of the smartest people ever! My dad Charles 'Bal' McDonald was born and raised in Glace Bay Cape Breton. He too was an avid reader and smart as hell. My grandpa Neil MacDonald and Joseph Currrie worked in the mines and many other family and Glace Bay Heros. I enjoyed watching this. Any relation to the Curries from #2 I wonder? Sherry McDonald

Charles, thank you for promoting the play! Your video inspired me and made me cry. We're going to be premiering in October 2014 in Reserve (I hope) and then touring across the country. Thanks again!
