🧘🏻♀️ Yoga Nidra is a powerful tool to regulate your nervous system which determines how you think, feel act and generally your perception. So, essentially, how you experience life. Whether you're fully living it and being guided by your heart & thus, love. Rather than allowing fear & worries to make you a passive observer of life.
🧠 Yoga Nidra is so effective when it comes to managing stress and “bad” emotions because it activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). This is where we recharge, heal and can just BE.
🤯 Most people are stuck in the sympathetic state (fight or flight):
constantly switched on and doing doing doing…their life feels like a never-ending to-do list.
😅 It is a natural impulse to get out of this state if it lasts too long because it demands a lot of energy and thus, is very draining. But no one taught us the skill of true self-regulation.
