Burnout is a result of chronic, work stress that has not been successfully managed and it is becoming increasingly common in the era of COVID, especially for those who care for others. As social service providers, it’s natural to want to be all things to all people to ease the burdens and problems of what people face. We do this however, at great cost, as we often run the risk of neglecting ourselves, putting our physical and emotional health at risk. During this webinar we’ll learn the 3 Rs of Burnout Prevention and how to Recognize, Respond, and skillfully Replenish & Restore our sense of balance, comfort and well-being. This program is an opportunity to gather as a community to share our collective angst and stories in ways that unite, nourish, and strengthen us as we reach toward each other for support and caring. We’ll take a moment to commune to honor our vulnerabilities as well as seek new ways to restore our collective psyches.
