Butter, Oat, Flaxseed Sourdough Bread
This is the kind of sourdough bread recipe that will surprise you with its flavor and super soft texture if you make it by paying attention to all the details. Oat and flaxseed content will add extra health and flavor to your bread.
PREPARE SOAKER;
50 g oats
10 g flax seeds
25 g butter
60 g water (room temperature)
DOUGH;
360 g bread flour
40 g whole wheat flour
290 g of water
80 g active starter (takes approx 5 hours to peak at 25 C)
10 g salt + 10 g water
Watch the video how the dough is made. I do not recommend that you apply sourdough recipes only by looking at the recipe. Pay attention to the tricks.
Total bulk fermentation time 4.5-5 hours (at 25 C room temperature)
The basket size 24 cm and the cast ıron pot 7 lt (ikea)
Bread was baked at 230 C with a lid for 20 minutes and at 210 C without a cover for 20 minutes (steam support was provided with ice cubes)
