Chicken fried Rice /Chinese Chicken rice /Fried Rice/ Thai Rice
Chicken fried rice is a popular dish in many Asian cuisines, particularly Chinese and Thai. It typically consists of cooked rice stir-fried with diced chicken, vegetables (such as spring onion/ peas carrots, and capsicum cabbage), eggs, and seasonings. Here's a simple recipe to make chicken fried rice:
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked white rice (preferably chilled)
250 gram chicken breast, diced
2 cup mixed vegetables (such as spring onion , carrots, and cabbage/beans ) Juliene cut
2 table spoon ginger garlic paste
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
Salt and
Black and green pepper powder to taste
Green onions. coriander chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add Juliene cut chicken to the skillet and cook until it's no longer pink, with ginger garlic paste stirring occasionally.
Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for a couple of minutes until they are heated through.
Pour the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) over the rice mixture and toss everything together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and evenly mixed.
Remove the skillet from the heat and garnish with chopped green onions coriander.
Serve hot and enjoy your delicious homemade chicken fried rice!
