I remember this show. "If they could see me now" was the kickoff. It was really good. After the opening, the rest of the show went downhill.

Wouldn't exactly say it went downhill. If my friends can see me now, very good. Star's and Strive Forever, good performance of it. Joe Genero's arrangement was spot on. And the 2nd. half was excellent. Rhapsody in Blue, Walk on the Wild Side , Hang em High, Mag. Seven theme, Also Speech Zarathustra Fanfare were all great. I saw them at The Dream this '70 season and they wer very good. Not quite as '69, but very good nevertheless.

The recording here of the Hurricanes is a little weak, but the video is excellent quality. This was a very good show by the Hurcs in1970. If My Friends Could See Me Now OTL, Stars and Stripes Forever color pre, excellent. Rhapsody in Blue played superbly by Hurcs brass. Their performance at the Dream in'70 was great. Not quite as great as '69 the DCA title year but very good nevertheless.
