Every minute on the minute starting at the 1 minute mark:
Death by Thrusters (95/65)
So at the end it 1 minute, perform 1 thruster. Continue rowing until the end of the second minute, at which point you will perform 2 thrusters. Continue this trend, adding 1 thruster every round until 2000m is accumulated on the rower.
I failed at 1805m after the 10 thrusters took about 40 seconds to complete. You may look at this and say “how do you not finish, you’re 200 meters away.” True, but the thrusters were taking about 40 seconds at this point and requiring a break (and getting sloppy). So about 15 seconds to row would net maybe 70 meters. So I was looking at 3 more rounds which would have been 11, 12, and 13 thrusters. Not happening. Not mentally tough enough. Instead I took off the 11 thrusters and finished the row. Stopped the timer and paid my debt of 11 thrusters. Not sure any other strategy would have worked. I rowed harder than I typically would have but you sort of have to in order to avoid later rounds. Overall a deadly workout. Give this one a go!
