How long did you cook each part???? Deep fried turkeys are 3 1/2 minutes a pound but this takes a little more planing.

Looking for new ideals lol. This is not a bad method. Tried frying the entire thing last year but ended up with the inner meats not being fully cooked before the turkey. Was still good but ended up having to cut into peices and re deep fry.

Dont understand why some many steps in cooking it , why not put it all together and then fry it ? It was a cool video

+Ashleigh Gray It's to manage temperature better. Putting it all together and cooking it would overcook your outer layers while the inner layers came to temperature. By cooking it from the inside out you can cook you inner most layer to just under done, then the same with your middle layer, and then as you cook the outside layer you ensure that they all come to a consistent temperature without overcooking/ drying out the turkey
