Disappear for 6 months in 2024
This disappearing for 6 months means you are focusing on your goals,your ambitions and on you for the next six months to connect to yourself deeply and disconnect from the distraction filled world.
How?
1. Identify your reason for choosing to disappear- why ?
When you define your why about anything, it will be easier for you to work your way through it! First make a list of all those things- this will give you the clarity of why you are doing this ! These are your goals for these 6 months.
2. Choose your distractions- the goal of disappearing for 6 months is self improvement, meaning no distractions.because you are what you consume, what is going into your mind! but we don't look at some of those as distractions, we rather indulge in them, like going out on a saturday night, talking to friends everyday or spending hours on social media, watching content online, you have to choose what you get distracted with- anything that is helping you improve and has a positive effect on you, is allowed and anything or anyone who is a negative influence on your life is to be set aside immediately!
3.Focus on one area of your life- when you define your why, you have your goals, but make it specific, what goals are you going to focus on for the next 6 months? Is it your financial goals, your personal goals, career goals, lifestyle goals, choose only one area and write down detailed goals in that area. The reason why I'm saying this is when you identify the area which you are lagging most in and start making progress in that area, all the other areas of your life will automatically progress. So it is important to focus on one area at a time. Also read books focused on that area, the best books relevant to that area written by experts to develop and enhance the database you have in that area.
4.Explore additional streams of income- we are tuned to work 9 to 5 and pay the bills and follow this our entire lives, but with the inflation, everyone needs an additional source of income- start a side hustle- this isn't for everyone- we already have a lot on our plates, so this is for someone who has been putting off great ideas for some other time, use this 6 months to work on this idea, whether its a blog, or youtube channel or an online store anything start working on this idea for the next 6 months- remember the key here is to work on those ideas which can be monetised eventually!
5.Don't be scared to block out unnecessary noise: stop being nice to those negative habits, negative people or anything which is pulling you in a direction opposite your goals! Be bold , don't be scared to set up boundaries when necessary! Because it is equally important to dump the garbage and only cleaning the house isn't enough and cleaning is not complete if you just do one of those!
6.Use this time to overcome your fears in your chosen area: we all have fears, most of which stop us from progressing in certain areas of our lives… so list out those fears in the area you are working on for these 6 months- use these 6 months to overcome those fears- take one step at a time and get over your fears.
7.Develop skills you are lagging in- when you choose your area of focus, you'll identify the skills that you lack ! use this time to concentrate on the skills needed to progress, learn new skills, sharpen your old skills, become confident in your skills.
8.Detox physically, mentally and spiritually- detoxing your body at regular intervals is essential to live a healthy life, choose your food wisely, get on a detox diet, detox from digital devices, detox from toxic relationships and friends, cleanse your mind, body and spirit through meditation, diet and reset yourself in these 6 months. Imagine how your best body, mind and soul look like? Imagine these, visualise these and use them as the guide to lead you to your highest possible self. No processed foods, no deep fried food, eat whole foods and grains, beans, fish, hydrate yourself enough, walk for a half hour. Spirituality allows for deepest grounding in life- so connect with your spiritual belief for at least an hour everyday to connect with your deep spiritual nature.meditate
9.Practise gratitude- be thankful for everything you receive in a day, the good, the bad, the food, the happiness, the joy, the sadness coz everything shapes you as a person, be thankful for everything everyday!
10.Journal- keep a journal aside for tracking your progress, your thoughts and what you want to incorporate into your routine- anything that is missing- add it to your routine
