Practising mindfulness- mindfulness is not just about meditating or doing something spiritual, it is to be aware of everything going on in our life, and being aware of your thoughts, your surroundings, eliminating anything which is negatively influencing your progress and this awareness will help you develop confidence and positivity.
Filter out the negativity- we are surrounded by negativity in different forms everyday, sometimes it comes in the form of harsh criticism, sometimes in the form of hate comments, in the form of jealous
Persistence- the key to overcoming any setbacks in the way of achieving our goals is persistence, it is easy to give up, turn around and go back or say it's not my cup of tea, but beyond these setbacks is the real success. When we stay persistent it improves our positive mindset.
Never stop learning- be a lifelong student, keep learning the essential skills at every step of your journey to keep yourself updated with knowledge and embrace the growth mindset.
Surround yourself with positive people- your friends will determine how your thinking is going to be, when you have positive people in your friends group, who encourage you, have similar goals and keep you motivated, this will help with developing a positive mental attitude.
Give without expectation- when you help people expecting that they will do something for you in return, you will be disappointed most of the time, because people may not think like you. So when you help someone, if you don't have any expectations,you won't be disappointed and you will be positive about any situation. Helping others without expecting anything in return will also help to develop a sense of joy and purpose in life.
Be kind everyday- when we show kindness to others in words or deeds it will help us to develop positive feelings within us, boosting our confidence.
Physical exercise- physical activity of any kind, everyday for 30 min or more, boosts mood, reduces stress , encourages a positive attitude.
Diet- when we eat a balanced diet it will help us to keep our mood in check and our energy levels will be maintained for the day.

Limit alcohol and avoid drugs- these substances can have negative effects on mood and overall mental health.
Practise patience- patience is what this generation needs a lot, we don't have the patience to wait for a few minutes before we cook, we need instant food, instant fixes for all our problems, but patience helps to reduce frustration and this will promote a positive mindset.
Always get constructive feedback- when we think about criticism, we feel bad, because most of it comes from people who don't know you. But when you receive constructive feedback from people who are your well wishers, you will be able to build yourself up, improve and grow by getting inputs from friends and family.
Avoid gossip- gossip is everything we talk about other people who are not related to us in any way, especially if it is saying something bad about them. It's gossip. Keep clear from gossip, because it increases negativity,so never gossip. This is impossible for most of but I'm just saying, the benefits are so many!
Forgive - holding onto grudges, makes us bitter and makes us more and more negative, so forgive people and let fate do its work. You don't have to worry about revenge. Forgiveness is the best medicine for you to heal.
Take responsibility for your actions- we have a habit of blaming others or our situations for our failures, sometimes it could just be those but most situations are the result of our own fault. So start taking responsibility for everything and you’ll end up becoming more and more positive.
Celebrate others’ success- when someone in your friends group or family has achieved something, be the first to celebrate as if it is your own success,this will help to build a sense of belonging and positivity in us.
