Everyone has heard of the L5S1 intervertebral disc (at least especially people with lower back pain or who have experienced low back pain).
At the level of the spine, the L5S1 disc is subjected to the highest stresses/pressures generated by flexion, extension, tilt and rotation movements.
It happens very often that there is, at this vertebral level, a wear that we call: disc degeneration (disc bulge, disc protrusion, disc herniation).
Sometimes it is said that the consequence of this degeneration are symptoms such as sciatica, tingling in the leg, numbness, pain.
Many people think that this disc and even the intervertebral discs (c4c5, c5c6, l3l4, l4l5, etc...) are fragile except that... This is not the case!
An extremely strong intervertebral disc!
I wished to reveal you in this 1st video what is the intervertebral disc and especially to explain you why it is so strong.
I hope you will enjoy watching this video as much as I had fun producing it.
Have a good viewing!
