I wish Chris read the second half of Nestor's quote. He explained that he will do anything for his teammates and ultimately will do anything to win.

Tiger's fan here C Rose, in short we shouldn't be mad. Trey Sweeney has been a good piece to our lineup and we don't get him without trading Jack Flaherty. If we don't get Flaherty back then yes that's frustrating, but no, we got into it WITH the young players that took over because of the trade and because we got Canha out of the lineup. We aren't even trying to win the World Series this year but just making it to October baseball will tell the owner that he better open his pocket book or sell the team.

Why would we be pissed? This is revisionist history. Pitching has been the strength this year not the detriment. It was the offense and injuries that had us selling at the deadline. We’re winning games and Reese Olson is coming back. They aren’t just piecing it together. Fetter and hinch have a plan, and the bulk guys are all young triple a starters making their debuts. They’ve been doing this since the trade deadline, they aren’t just winging it.

The Dodgers rotation is not great currently. But whatever they have is still tons better than what they had last year for the postseason lol. I mean damn they rolled out Bobby Miller and Lance Lynn lmao. LANCE LYNN. For a deciding game.

The Dodgers IL rotation is insane. Every team has a couple of their main rotation out but the Dodgers IL could field two full rotations that would be regular starters on most teams.

JFlare absolutely stuck it to your guards, rosey. shocked you didn’t talk about that at all. 😏 he’s been fantastic since joining the dodgers. but their rotation does scare me going into the postseason. if they can have some combo of flaherty, glasnow, and yamamoto, i’d feel much better. but we just don’t know at this point. their IL rotation is enough to cover TWO teams. it’s ridiculous. hope gavin stone is alright. they’re gonna need him, too.

Don't forget the braves and the mets have the season series victories over the dbacks. So if somehow all 3 teams end with the same record at the end of the year the dbacks will get the boot. That would be the worst way ever to miss the playoffs.

As a tigers fan I’d go back and do it again knowing we could have locked up Flaherty. I feel like this team has more grit and a bigger chip on their shoulder since the deadline. These young kids that have come up are playing to prove themselves and provide a spark. Getting players back off the IL has been great too. And what’s crazy, is looking at the Tigers record with Parker Meadows in the lineup. This team is more fun to watch with all the young prospects we have up right now

Yes Dodger rotation is a concern but to make it a top top red flag concern, no. we having moving pieces right now. we have to see how Yamamoto and Glasnow play out. It’s not panic time yet. Also, love how the dodgers are never a talking point on here, except for shohei but now that they took 2 out of 3 from Chris Rose’s Guardians it’s a “dodgers serious concern”

As a dodger fan, my concern sits somewhere between seven or eight. I’m confident that the Dodgers will be able to get Glasnow and Yamamoto ready for the playoffs. The X factor on how deep are studying rotation, Cambias weather walker Buehler takes another step forward

You only need 3-4 starters in October. If the Dodgers can get Glassnow, Yamamoto, and Flaherty going, that is a top lineup. I'm surprised they have the best record in baseball with all the injuries. It's hard not seeing them in the WS if Glassnow and Yamamoto come back and perform like themselves.

My concern level is at a 7 right now for the Dodger rotation. Flaherty is the only one that is a lock. These next 3 weeks or so should make it more clear who will pitch in the DS. Hoping Yamamoto and Glasnow hit the ground running when they come back.

I think DET is banking on Jobe coming up next season if not for maybe the very last series/stretch of series this season and producing to fill the spot they would've paid Flaherty for. Granted, it doesn't solve the hole they have in the rest of their rotation/pitching as a whole but it's one of the only reasons I could think of for not extending him in return for a SS that can at least "plug the hole" Baez creates. NOTE: I'm not a Tigers fan, just a lil prospect follower that likes the Sox (Red).

So we're just going to let Pluffe's comments calling the Royals "non-competitive" from not too long ago be revised to 'one of the Royals or Twins wil miss the playoffs?' Making sensational comments is fine as long as you are willing to eat crow when you're proven wrong.
