In this challenging Mission: IMPOSSIBLE , Dan @escapetoruralfrance had limited time to spare, only enough for a quick snack that would provide sustenance to replace lunch, to grab a quick snack that would keep them full. The sunny weather gave him the perfect opportunity to construct and film and I had to fit in without stalling them for a long time (sounds like two missions :).

I've chosen two recipes that you might recognize from my channel. The galette aux pommes de terre is a regional French dish made with potatoes, butter, and in our region, goat cheese, baked until golden and crispy. It is a comforting and satisfying recipe that showcases the flavors of the region. My twist, parsley garlic butter (beurre d'escargot) homemade by local snails farm.
On the other hand, Moroccan pastels are delicious savory pastries filled with a mixture of spiced fish/meat, onions, herbs... before being fried until crispy. It's a FIRST for @escapetoruralfrance Pastels are a popular street food in Morocco and are loved for their flavorful filling and crisp, flaky exterior. My twist, the TUNA was seasoned with whit vinegar that apparently appears to be, Dan's favorite mixture! These twists on familiar recipes created a unique aperitif that could easily replace a traditional lunch and it remains a Snack style!
