Another part of Jordan's history is ahead of us. Also this time full of adventures, emotions and amazing adventures.
Jordan Trail day 19 - 16 October 2022
Stage: Al-Karak - Jahra
Distance: 30km
Total distance: 460km
I started the day early in the morning. I left my luxury apartment and headed for the trail. I have to walk more than 3 km uphill to "conquer" A-Karak Castle again. On the way, I stop by the falafel room to have breakfast. I meet a friend of the owner. Sohaep said that since I have a long way to go today, it cannot be that I am paying and the order is at the expense of the company. I thanked him, said goodbye warmly and started up the hill.
When I passed the castle, I entered a rather pleasant stony road. After about 3 kilometers I had to climb about 200m uphill to get to the ruins of the Ainun village. Further on, the trail led quite a good road until at some point, traditionally, the search for a path began. However, we managed to cover this section efficiently and reach the first and only town today. There were no shops or people on the way today and I was running out of water. Despite the fact that it wasn't hot today and in addition a fairly strong wind cooled down pleasantly, I still felt thirsty.
When I entered the village it was after 5 pm, I decided to find a shop, replenish my water supply and go further to find a place for a tent. However, once again there were wonderful people who invited me to their place for the night. They prepared a delicious dinner and then there was tea, singing and dancing.
This day was unforgettable for me and will certainly stay in my memory for a long time. Thank you to the Jordanians for their hospitality and cordiality that made me feel at home.

Jordan Trail day 20 - 17 October 2022.
Stage: Jahra - Karaka
Distance: 34
Total distance: 494km
Today I went on the trail quite early in the morning. After a short night during which mosquitoes kept me awake, I said goodbye to my wonderful host and went on. I felt immense gratitude for the moment we shared together. Thank you with all my heart ❤️
Before returning to the trail, I went to the store to replenish my water supply, had a coffee with the seller and went ahead. There was over 1000 meters of descent down the gorge ahead of me. Initially, traditionally, the GPS track led through the rubble without any path to the "arrow". If I had to follow the trail, I would have to overcome 1-3 meter rock ledges. That's why I was looking for a safe way to cover this section. Later it was easy, maybe with a small exception, because at some point I came across a broken road washed away by the river. I managed to find a detour, and then the trail led me to the very bottom of the gorge along a rocky road.
I got to Burbeida where there are hot springs. There was no one there, so I crossed the river and headed up the opposite slope. It was about 1000 meters up ahead of me. I was a bit afraid of it, remembering the climb in Wadi Mujib. At first it was really difficult, again there was no path and it was not known how to go. I got lost twice, but when I managed to reach a rocky road, I was able to go straight ahead. These 1000 meters of ascent were spread over about 10 kilometers, so it wasn't steep anymore and the walk was very pleasant. In addition, a pleasant wind blew in the higher parts and the feeling of heat that accompanied me at the bottom of the Wadi was not there at all. When I reached the highest point, the asphalt appeared and I was able to accelerate even more. There was nothing and no one on the way. Only beautiful mountains and road.
Since it was still early, I decided to keep walking and reach the store to buy water and some food. When I was maybe a kilometer in front of the shop, another Angel of the Trail appeared. After a short conversation, I was invited to his house. I could clean myself up, take a shower and eat a nice dinner.
After dinner, I spent some more time with my host talking about our cultures and the differences between them. It was a very educational and interesting experience for me.
