Ingredients:
Ridge gourd - 2 (450gms)
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Urad dal - 1/4 tsp
Chana dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Chopped Garlic - 6 - 7 cloves
Green chilli - 2
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
Method:
1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
2. Add Mustard seed and it splutter.
3. Add urad dal & chana dal.
4. Add curry leaves, chopped garlic & green chilli and mix well.
5. Add chopped heerekai/ridge gourd.
6. Add Salt.
7. Mix well & close the lid and cook for 10 minutes on low flame.
8. Add coconut and mix well.
9. Close the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes on low flame.
10. Ready to serve.
