I have gallstones and research says fasting is a cause of gallbladder slush and/or gallstones. 😭 Still trying to fast a day or few days a week, but always a bit anxious my gallbladder might worsen. You have any thougths on that?

@@Healthy-Golden-Oldie drink this for 60 days, and then do 2 of this a week (for the rest of your life and you'll never have them again) 2 table spoons of apple cider vinegar or just vinegar (30ML) mixed with 100ML of squeezed lemon juice and water, if the flavor is to hard add some stevia to sweeten it... that's how i dissolved mine.

hey kate, haven't seen your video's for a little bit, beautiful as ever, i see all the swelling is finally gone. i all the time change my fasting routines, sometimes i do 16:8 sometimes i 20:4 some times i do 47:1 or 44:4 and most of the time i do OMAD or 23:1, and most of my meal consist of about 70% saturated fat (cheese) and then nuts, and once a week burgers and eggs try to keep it my proteins under 200 grams total, no fruits! very very very little vegetables, such as olives artichoke hearts, 30 grams of 100% dark chocolate with a tea spoon of stevia and a tea spoon of salted butter every day mixed with hot water yum! what do you think about my diet?

I work rotating shifts so for 2 weeks I eat around 10:30 in the morning and at 6:30 at night. Then the next 2 weeks I eat around 4 in the morning and then 4 in the afternoon. I’ve been doing this for almost a year and have lost 85 lbs.

Fasting daily from 18 to 20, sometimes almost a whole day. I can go longer without hunger problem but don't want to be too thin. It's amazing, uncountable health benefits. I keep going strong with less aging signs. Good diet and exercise also contribute to the results. Have a great day Kait, my hero💕

I fast from 6pm to 12 noon. I eat lunch, mostly eggs, especially omelets. No snacks and supper at 5:15. Done eating by 6. My lymphedema is a lot better. I have lost weight. I consume tea and water during my fast. Nothing in my tea. I have electrolytes for weird feeling days. My hemoglobin levels have improved, and I just feel better.

I do intermittent fasting 16:8. I also do keto. I feel best while eating this way as I'm consuming the nutritious meat and vegetables that my 60-year-old body needs.

I just saw a talk on this. Experts say just eat more protein and fat to satiety. Maybe experiment and add in a few more carbs if you think your body can handle it. Congratulations on hitting your goal weight!

You can do IF but vary the fasting times. One day fast 16 hrs, the next day 20 hrs, the next day 18 hrs, the next day 17 or 21 or 22 or 23. There is no specific formula. This will help you maintain your weight. Congrats 🎊🎉🎈 on achieving your goal! 🎯

I generally do 16 eight. But sometimes I will do a 24 or 36 hour fast once a week. I like to keep my body guessing so that it doesn’t just adapt. Fasting has been amazing! I could list off a zillion health benefits that I have experienced.

I have Diabetes,and have been doing keto ,low carb for a year and about a month and a half ago, I got really dizzy,sick to my stomach and fell hurt my back bumped my head, I was on metformin, and amlodipine, fenobrite , and levoxel,finally after complaining my doc , oked me to stop metformin, and I’m doing fasting , checking my blood glucose, and eating low carb, my exercise consists of 30-60 m bike in the morning,while drinking bulletproof coffee, then I fast from 16/8-18/6, daily, I used to exercise 4-6 days a week , ( just retired from FD 1 yr ago after 42yrs, was very active then ,now , I working on getting back to the gym, hurt, back shoulders n knees, “so we’re off to the races” , I’m very excited about getting back to the gym, but don’t want to go overboard, I usually do, was a powerlifter, for many years,

I'm on the Keto Diet for diabetes, not for weight loss. My eating window is from noon to 8pm. I usually fast for about 17 hours, as I usually start my fast around 7pm. First thing in the morning I have a little bit of lemon juice and ACV in water, then coffee with MCT oil. I then sip on teas and water with trace minerals. I eat two meals and sometimes a snack in between.

Thank you for all the videos that you made for Insuline Resistance, I finally understand my problem. I am ready to start the diet and follow all the advices that you gave, just want to ask what to eat to gain more energy? As when I start fasting, my body start shaking and feeling dizzy. Dr. fung recommends a fat fast for people who can't get through more than a day of a water fast. He says it helps get the appetite under control and helps you faze into a water fast.

I was intermittent fasting before it was a trend. I just didnt even realize it. I dont get hungry during the morning and usually dont even eat until 2pm and finish eating around 9pm. I was like oh I always eat like this and my friend was like you’re intermittent fasting

Fasting is not so difficult.I am used to fasting during the month of Ramadan.Most of the time you eat out of boredom or even when you are not hungry.Sometimes when I break my fast I am not even hungry or cannot even eat such a lot.

If you want to fast as a diabetic it is best to monitor your blood sugar levels.I am diabetic and fasted and it did not affect me so much.But we are all different .What works for me might not work for somebody else.

1 Question: does sugar free Metamucil taken with water in place of, say, breakfast or lunch, break a fast? I usually have ‘bulletproof’ coffee when I wake up. Pad of butter, spoon of MCT powder in 12oz dark roast coffee.

@@brendaradloff6995 First, ;et me applaud you for your accomplishment. Great going! I love unsweetened coconut milk, especially in the bulletproof coffee. I have a cup of that in the morning, and I am full for 3 - 4 hours before it's time for lunch and solid food. Also, the energy and mental focus get me going to do whatever I have to do.

I'm trying etrf so hopefully I can start back losing. I started yesterday with my last bite at 430pm. I want to move it back to 2pm eventually. Do you think this will work for me to lose 10 pounds. I do 16:8 fasting method, but most of the days the eaiting window is about 6 hours. I do 72 hours of fasting once a year. During fasting window I only dronk water and caffee in the morning

As helpful intermitted fasting could be good for some, but it’s not for everybody. For example if you struggle with gallstones it might not be right for you. You need to empty the gallbladder regularly and fasting could lead to problems. Just a reminder.
