Today I'm going to show you a particularly juicy meatball recipe Grandma's way. The meatballs are really fluffy and juicy, just like they used to be.
Recipes with minced meat are particularly quick because the cooking time is short. In my cooking video, I will show you how to get the meatballs particularly juicy with step-by-step instructions.
The simple recipe is also suitable for beginners.
The meatballs can be enjoyed warm or cold.

ingredients
1kg minced meat (half and half)
1 roll or toast from the day before
150ml milk
2 eggs
1 onion and some butter
1 tbsp mustard of your choice
1 tsp tomato paste
spices
2 tsp salt
pepper to taste
1 heaped teaspoon sweet paprika powder
For frying rapeseed oil or sunflower oil
preparation
1. Cut the rolls into large pieces, put them in a bowl and pour the milk over them. Set aside and let soak.
2. Cut the onion into very fine cubes
3. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-high and sauté the onions until translucent. Place the onions in a bowl and set aside to cool.
4. Now squeeze out the soaked roll and add to the minced meat.
5. Add the eggs, mustard, tomato paste and the cooled onions.
6. Season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika powder.
7. Now knead the minced meat vigorously for at least 5 minutes.
8. Add 2-3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and knead again really vigorously for at least 2 minutes.
9. Form 12 equally sized meatballs from the minced meat mixture and place on a plate.
10 Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high and place the prepared meat patties in the heated oil.
11 Fry on each side for about 6 minutes.
12 Drain the finished meatballs on kitchen paper.
