Sorry, my video got cut off. I meant to add: God bless you in your progress to sainthood. May you always bear witness to Almighty God. And God bless you that you may join all your favourite saints in the glory of God. And please pray for me

Thank you, I did enjoy hearing this and was interested to hear generally how our canonization process would work. I have noticed that there were new saints on the calendar since the 70s and was wondering how it was set in place. I certainly prefer this methodology to some more secular alternatives to putting people (who are not always creedal Christians) on the calendar that I have seen in other institutions and I am glad we do it this way.

thank you for sharing this Father. It is most comforting to know that the Saints of Yore, are still alive with Christ, ever interceding for the faithful Christ own precious bride, of whom first indeed is the Blessed Mother, who always prays for each of us. Many times we know not how to pray or even have the strength so to do, but the saints do so even apart from our petitions to them, how much more so when we do ask them to pray for us.

Thank you father, I asked regarding King Charles and this answered my question and much more. 😄

Well, glad to hear that though I shall look at King Charles a little more in depth in a couple of weeks.

Thank you. I remember a similar discussion on Anglican Diaspora about this quite a while ago. I imagine that with the provincial structure of the Canterbury communion, this could get quite tricky. The continuum, of course, might face even more challenges as each body chooses to recognize or not as they see fit.

I think the drive for unity of the G3 will help us to (re)appraise our hagiography in finding common ground. Part of me thinks, however, that there can't be many saints whose causes we couldn't agree upon. I can't say that +Albert Chambers would be canonised, for example, unless we regard the existence of the Continuum as a miracle in itself and +Chambers the vehicle of God's gift of the episcopate. It would certainly require considering. One thing that might happen as part of our unification would be a form of department for the causes of saints.

@Warwickensis My memory is a little fuzzy on this, but I believe the APCK and a fee others did an annual pilgrimage to the grave of Bishop Grafton, who I admit to knowing very little about. I assume if there is such an event, he would be brought up.

@@Booger414 that can only be a good thing in my opinion. Looking for saints is an active search for what is holy. After all, "with the holy, thou shalt be holy..." If the APCK think of Bishop Grafton as a saint, I should be very glad to hear their process of discernment.
