In today's practice, we explored opening ourselves up to uncertainty. One thing we can be certain of is that we will die, but how and when we don't know. Here, we worked with what we can be certain of in this moment - the ground beneath our feet and the constancy of our breath - and then opening ourselves up to thoughts of the future that might come in and how we don't really know that those events or plans will happen or not. When considering our own impermanence it can be a time to consider what really matters to us, what is the most important thing to focus on and how we can live our best lives. Here we can appreciate what we have. Each inhale is a gift, each breath is a gift.
