This is how Australians hear music from the Northern Hemisphere. Now, they can actually hear the song as it was intended. It is amazing that our modern technology can now bridge this chasm between Australia and the rest of the world. Thank you for doing this great service for the people of Australia. Edit: despite having a considerable number of likes (13k - thank you all for your contributions) - I feel that my comment is cringe - but I will not delete it since I want it to remind me of how it is always possible to be cringe and to be more careful in my future endeavours.

That's why I'm gonna' copy another Australian meme: American Drill Sergeant: "Did you come here to die!?!" Australian Soldier: "Nah, mate. Came here yesterday." Although, it would make more sense that "That Guy" (negative) is the ID, "Some Guy" (neutral) is the Ego, and "The Guy" (good) is the Super-Ego. I'm not sure this metaphor is accurate and reliable.

I'm from New Zealand and it sounds perfectly fine, when does the negative harmony come in.

THANK YOU. Been trying to think of who it reminded me of. Sufjan Steven's and Elliot Smith vibes, most definitely.

The beginning sounds like background music of some onformercial from 1992 that tries to sell you some weird paintbrush

Dang dude, i just realized youve done all of these negative versions, I really like them so i assumed there would be a lot of people doing it, but alas, like minor covers, negative covers are hard to find. 10/10 tho

Jokes aside, the way you entirely flipped not only the harmony, but the whole arpeggios in the synth solo is really impressive! I laughed hard but loved it at the same time 😂
